The worst community management of any game. Shame as it was pretty good back in the day but ♥♥♥♥♥♥ can we get 1 ♥♥♥♥♥♥ update that isn't "ayo we added 64 new $25+ cosmetics for you to buy' or 'we "radically" changed the menus so now they have 15 more pixels'. Unbelievable how hard this has fallen off. The only good part of this game now is the Esports scene but that has also been shanked down by literally 2 million dollars (obvs this is because they are not making any money on this game anymore cuz people have feelings and brain cells and understand what is happening). Also just ghosting casters and then telling them 2 weeks before RLCS starts that they have lost their jobs? Mad. Making everyone do open qual every week? Mad. Lowering the number of spots given to the 2 best regions in the game so a region that is just filled with EU players looking for some quick money and another MENA team (which tbf is pretty amazing)? Mad. Completely removing the wildcard format from Worlds and making it just the same as every other major? Mad (Like why? Wildcard was the best part about worlds and allowed better regions to bring more teams. It was such a good, balanced format that rewarded good play at LAN). Of course this game isn't on steam anymore (for good reason, like this ♥♥♥♥ is ass) but still doesn't change my opinions of it.
