In short it looks bland.

Visuals and textures need improving, with more colour, ambient occlusion (baked shading), etc. I especially dislike the rock terrain that surrounds the base.

Considering you will be looking at the base for a fair proportion of the game it could really do with a bit of a lift.

Unresponsive garbage

Driving is terrible, cars are heavy and bulky yet have no traction at all.

Shooting is pretty mediocre, even boring. Not enough variation in the guns, all feel the same. The tutorial section for shooting is extremely dull and unimaginative.

From the little story I have done it isn’t good, needs more work introducing you to the characters to make them seem likeable and make you care about them. Plus the introduction section for your character type (corpo, streetkid, nomad) just seems so underwhelming, barely worth including it in its current state.

The AI for the npc’s is so bad, makes the world seem dead.

The RPG and looting aspect is complete trash currently, that being said I always hate games with extremely grindy looting with tiny incremental stat buffs as you level up.

Nothing in this game is new or revolutionary.

Too many people using hacks/mods to cheat

If you want a realistic flight game don't buy this. It's an arcade game essentially, and the story is terrible.

Energy Airforce Aim Strike was way better on the PS2

Combat system is dull and inept, manpower system is annoying, very little scope for interesting campaigns with smaller countries, and some of the DLC should be included in the base game, such as the Allied and Axis Unit skins.

Australia now a major powerhouse for natural resources, also appears to be relatively barren.

VERY BUGGY, such as getting stuck in the ground or buildings, or quests not completing when they should. However, the game has a lot of depth and features. I can see me playing it for a long time.

Really good solid game, one of the best I've played in a long time. However, disappointingly short. Hope they add stuff on and/or make another.

Game could do with a remaster, it's got a 20+ hr campaign with a good story, the graphics hold up relatively well, music and sound fx are pretty good as well. Single player is fun for a bit, but the AI is pretty stupid.

And to avoid stuttering frames turn 'hardware cursor' on then off (or off then on then off if you have it on already)
