This game is truly a gem which lets you rediscover the childlike sense of wonder and excitement most of us adults lose as we grow older. Everything in this game is vibrant and happy and exciting. It feels as if you are experiencing Christmas for the first time all over again.

The game does all of that while tackling a fairly common story trope; the mending of a borderline broken relationship, which is told in the most creative way I've ever seen. All the levels serve as a way for the two main characters to bond again and rediscover their passions, hobbies and love they once felt for each other. And most importantly, they learn the power of CO-LLA-BO-RATION!!!

As a guy, I don't cry much, but the ending of this game had me very emotional and holding back tears. Long story short, this game is a masterpiece and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it with my girlfriend. 10/10.

Probably not worth it if you're a solo player. (Unless you can get over the massive amounts of gatekeeping you'll go through while starting out and gearing up.)

If you're with a group of friends, it's worth it.

If you're in a big guild that is into Lost Ark, it's definitely worth it and very fun.

I grabbed this game during the Christmas Steam sale for 5 euro and I must say, it is worth even the full price. This game is a masterpiece for fans of the Star Wars franchise. The combat is great, very similar to games like Sekiro, Dark Souls or Elden Ring, but with lightsabers and the Force.

I played this game on the hardest difficulty and explored every nook and cranny before moving on to really immerse myself and enjoy the game, and it was fantastic. The game has around 30 hours of content if you play the way I did, if you don't care about most of the collectibles and side content, the game will probably feel short and on easy difficulty, you could complete it in around 10 hours or less if you focus purely on the main quest.

One thing that irritated me when I started was the fact that you had to manually press a key to grab onto a wall/ledge that you jumped towards and wanted to climb to actually grab it. Luckily, there is a setting to change this to make Cal automatically grab walls/ledges and start climbing, but that should definitely be the default option and I don't understand why the default option is the manual setting.

Graphically, the game is stunning if you can play it on max settings. I played on low/medium and even then the game looked great on my potato PC. The music; I mean, it's Star Wars, do I really need to say anything else...? There's also a few "diversity" characters forced into the game which could turn some people off, but overall it is a great game and I highly recommend it.

9.5/10

After 140 hours in Cyberpunk 2077, I have completed quite literally everything. Got all achievements, saw all the endings (5 in total) and explored every nook and cranny of Night City. Many reviews have, both here and on the net, went into much greater detail reviewing this game, and so I'll try to be as brief as possible to make this useful for people who are torn on whether to buy this game or not.

Coming into this with zero expectations, I'd give it 6/10. Game is fine (many reviewers are overhyping the downsides of the game while not really mentioning the upsides), needs A LOT of polish though, and a lot of bugs need to be fixed (currently there's unlimited money dupe exploit, non-lethal arm cannon one-shots quite literally everything in the game, which in turn allows for insane power-leveling aka max lvl in 4 hours, u randomly die at times for unknown reasons, cars and NPCs fly into the air or come flying down out of nowhere for no apparent reason, you can also dupe any item in the game through Drop Points, etc etc, at the very least you'll be entertained by the amount of bugs that you'll encounter, some of them are funny, some much less so).

Story's alright, don't expect anything epic, but it's not trash either. Graphics are amazing if u have the new-gen graphic cards and u can run the game at max, though it's playable on lesser graphics too (I played on medium and it was fine, but certainly looked a bit 2015-ish and dated). Characters were AMAZING, especially those in the main story, and the animators clearly spent a lot of work on them. Sadly this can't be said about the rest of the NPCs which are basically a copy-paste of a few presets along with around 5 one-liners that they repeat, makes everything feel less "alive" than for example in a game like GTA V.

The soundtrack and music in general in this game is absolutely AMAZING. They have really nailed it in this department and I have nothing bad to say about this. Same goes to the voice-acting in this game, I really loved it, though I must admit it seems that the game was created around male V more than female V. I'd personally rate Male V's voice actor (and playthrough of the game in general) as much more enjoyable than when I played as Female V. Male V just managed to deliver all the lines with much more detail and emotions than Female V, but this is just my personal opinion. Ultimately, both are fine and it doesn't really take you out of the dialogues and roleplay.

Lastly, a few closing thoughts. One, I have to admit that the fact they worked on "this" for 7 years clearly shows that most of the money went into marketing, hiring Keanu and doing all the animation and acting, which was then transfered into the game to create these characters. As a result, many things in the game are half-finished or just very bare-bones. The city itself is fantastic, along with all the different advertisements, but sadly after a while you'll notice most of it repeats. Every single region has the same adds, which is a shame, as some regions like the Japantown could use more Japanese ads with Kanji and Japanese voices coming from the street speakers and radios, whereas areas like the Pacifica could use different ads, as that area was (obviously) inspired by African cultures and their lifestyle, so maybe have less ads that are Japanese in this area and more ads that are French or in some African language, idk just give us variety to really show the diversity of the city. This is nitpicking though, and they should very much focus on bug-fixing and polishing the game right now before they even think about this, but I wanted to throw it out there.

And secondly, I'd definitely change how you summon your vehicles to you and their driving. The driving in this game is ♥♥♥♥, I used Caliburn for the majority of my playthroughs (I love the car visually and it's also coincidentally the fastest car in the game), and driving that ♥♥♥♥ was horrible. You tap A or D, it barely turns, so you tap it again and suddenly you're drifting and you feel like you have no control over the vehicle, so you try to stabilize only to drift even harder the other way. And forget about turning while going 200, that ♥♥♥♥'ll throw you into the air (quite literally sometimes, thank you Bugpunk 2077 for those sweet Caliburn Airlines that I experienced a few times in my playthroughs) and you'll waste 20-30 seconds trying to get back on the road again. And so that I dont forget, I had some crashes during my 140 hours (I could count all the crashes that I've had on my left hand) and also few game-breaking bugs where you had to reload an earlier save to make it work again (I could count all of those game-breaking bugs on my right hand), it was a little annoying but nothing that would make me immediately uninstall and refund, so take it as you will. I was probably one of the "luckier" people that had mostly no technical issues with the game.

And finally, game was overhyped as per usual by many people, also turns out it wasn't the "cure" to many people's problems and so they were disappointed and angry and now they're mad at CDPR which I don't think is completely right (sure they done goofed in some parts of the game, but also absolutely killed it in others), but it is somewhat entertaining reading some of the angry reviews and what some of the reviewers expected from the game. If you had no expectations going into this, you probably enjoyed the game just like I did, but if you did have expectations, you were probably let down. Keep this in mind, dear reader, when going through the reviews on Steam or anywhere else, and check the state of the game for example on Youtube before buying, as all of this that I just wrote down might change in the future/might have already changed.

Good night and good luck in Night City!

"The factory must grow."

You've probably read that a few times already, as you're going down the review list. "What is this non-sense?" you ask yourself, sighing into your quiet room as you go grab another beer. "Is this a joke? Or a 'meme' or whatever it's called?" you ponder on your way back from the kitchen.

You're trying to ignore the temptation in your mind. "Just try it. Buy it. It's only 25€ anyways, what's the worst that can happen?" You give in. You can't resist the urge to find for yourself what all these positive reviews are about. You swipe your credit card, thank our overlord Gaben for providing us with this blessing, and launch Factorio.

A turning gear icon welcomes you as the main menu loads. Your interest has already been piqued. "This is it," you proclaim, watching the progress bar slowly fill. Once it hits 100 % and unveils the main menu, you start to feel a weird sense of euphoria. "Well, here goes nothing," you say out loud when hitting that New Game button, while your wife gives you a weird look from across the room, probably thinking, "What stupid game is he playing this time?"

You leave the settings at their default values. You don't have time to mess around with that stuff. You want to learn about the factory that must grow. You can't satisfy your curiosity any other way now. You're beyond the point of saving.

As you load into the map and take your first step, it all clicks in. "Iron here, coal there, research... over there," you mumble as you gulp on that beer you brought from the kitchen earlier. "Honey, bring me another one, please," your wife mumbles something under her nose as she gets up to get you another beer, but you don't care. You're too deep already. You've just researched Automation and there's nothing stopping you now.

You place down your first Assemblers, and you start automating things. Suddenly, your vision goes white and you're surrounded by white nothingness. A light shines down upon you, seemingly out of nowhere. You hear a loud, majestic voice proclaim into that void of white nothingness, "The factory must grow, young one. Never forget that."

"Hey! Hey, you okay?" You come back to your senses and hear your wife trying to get to you, shaking with your whole body. You realize you completely spaced out. Did she bring another beer? Yes, she did. That's all that matters.

You take a sip from your fresh beer, as you return to what you were doing before. The line of assemblers expands, the belts start to intertwine and entangle with each other, underground belts go from one side of your base to the other. You start to gulp on your beer as some of it drips on your already filthy shirt. "I understand now, my lord," you whisper. "The factory... it... it must grow... The factory must grow at all cost."

...

Somewhere, in a different part of the world, another person stumbles upon this review. "The factory must grow? What is this non-sense, some kind of a joke? A meme, perhaps?" And so, the cycle continues...

I am a Diablo 3 refugee. This game turned me into a hardcore PoE player and I never looked back since. Best ARPG on the market, 11/10.

Have you always wanted to smack your friends around as a badass killer from some of your favourite horror movies? Well, look no further!

In actuality, you're probably gonna get looped by the survivors, as they T-bag you and make you question your very existence, while clicking their flashlights in the distance, taunting you to switch target from the poor soul you've been chasing for the past 10 minutes without success. Still interested? Oh boy, it only gets better from here.

Have you finally gotten the best perks in the game and you're playing your favourite horror movie killer? Well, that's great! I'm sure you're gonna catch those pesky little survivors in no time!

Uhm, actually... no, you won't. So, you know how the survivors looped you around the map for 10 minutes straight while taunting you with flashlights, dropping all 500 pallets on you that are around each and every corner, all while popping 5 gens in 2 minutes through your Hex: Ruin? Yeah, that all happened in the last paragraph or two. Well, it's great you remember it and I'm sorry for putting your imagination through that horror for a second time.

With all of that said, you might actually land a hit on the survivors now! Or can you? Of course you can't! They've all got Dead Hard (and no, I'm not talking about your pee pee, you naughty boy), so as soon as you're about to hit that juicy slash, they're gonna pop the bad boy and dash away from you! Oh, what's that? They've got no pallets around and no jungle gyms? Nice! Go get them, big boy! Now that you've finally downed that slippery, environment-blending Claudette, go pick her up and put her on a hook!

Well done! Should I remind you of the other three people running around with flashlights? There's a Dwight T-bagging you to the left, don't pick the Claudette up yet...! Aaaand, it's too late, my dear killer. He's got the flashlight aaaand he's got the save too, what a shame. If only you had Lightborn, then maybe you'd—what's Lightborn? Oh, nevermind, I'll just spare you the suffering for now...

Dead by Daylight is the perfect game for the entire family. Have you got that one cousin who never stops talking about how good he is at everything? Great! Let him play the killer while you and your family members loop him for an eternity as you all laugh together and your cousin slowly loses all his brain cells and sanity. In reality, this game isn't an asymmetrical 1v4 experience, it's actually a 4v1 gang-bang simulator in which a group of friends take on the roles of 4 deadly high-school bullies as they toy around with the killer, slowly driving him mad with all their second-chance perks.

And if you're already dead on the inside, then playing killer in this game might just be your thing! Have fun and please the Entity! Alternatively, join the bullies and make use of all your excess time and energy in a positive way! Someone's gotta make these killers rage-quit, after all! And never forget, my dear friend, always "gg ez" in the chat!

Sincerely,

Ya boi Saber

At first sight, Subnautica will peak a player's interest immediately for it's sole premise: deep sea exploration and survival.

Just like we know nothing about what lurks in our oceans, you won't know what to expect in Subnautica either. You barely escaped your space ship which has been shot down by an unknown alien technology, just to find yourself on an uninhabitable world filled with water.

Realizing that the only way to go is down and deep, the player starts to gather materials and knowledge about them, which is essential for surviving on this hostile planet. As you build underground bases and uncover abandoned facilities, you start to unveil the mystery behind your crash, but also the dark truth which you didn't want to accept before: something lurks in the waters, watching you from the murky waters.

Will you decide to explore further, or will you prefer to stay in safe waters near the ocean's surface?

This game takes crafting, survival and underwater exploration to a whole new level. I have never played a better game than this, hands down. If you are looking for something that has an immersive story, interactive world with beautiful sea flora and fauna to explore, and a spoonful of horror and deep, scary waters on top of that, then you've found what you're looking for. This game is worth every single penny and more, thank you to the amazing developers for creating this masterpiece, it has been worth the wait!
