I like the siege warfare gameplay. Battle with different historical inspired units across several maps.

Had loads of fun with this back in the 90s. Happy to play it again.

Better than Overwatch. I wish I bought this game 3 years ago instead.

First impressions after nine hours of campaign gameplay and one multiplayer match. Campaign feels like a fancy tutorial. BUT, having unlockables in the campaign that carry over to multi player sounds good. Gives a sense of progression.

You earn skulls (currency) for finishing campaign missions and pvp. Which you can use to buy doctrines, loadouts, and skins (like Company of Heroes 2)
This is good if you focus on only one faction. But if you want to play all 3, you will feel at a disadvantage since you still need to buy the tactics, elites, or skills with hard earned skulls. Hey, at least there aren't micro transactions.

(SPOILER ALERT)-----
Funniest mission goes to the Orkz. (SPOILER ALERT) They build a super big gun and the best thing it can do is run away and insult the enemy. end spoiler------
Not happy that they removed the cover system, retreat, unit veterancy, and customized key binds.

Overall - Feels like they're trying to do a hybrid of Dow 1 and Dow 2.
I was expecting to get bored easily but I enjoyed it so much. My 4-6 hours of gaming that I usually divide between playing Overwatch, Guild Wars 2, and Shadowverse have been taken up completely by Dow3.

For the Emprah!

Not recommended.

You cannot choose your starter deck.
You can cannot play the "single player" quests without unlocking the other starter decks which you pay for in $$$.
Quick play does not match you against someone with your skill level. In two hours of playing, I have not met a beginner. Take note, I define a "beginner" as someone who has the same deck as I do since (as stated above) you have no choice in starter decks.
No conversion of ingame gold (earned currency) to crystal (premium currency bought with $$$)

Would have been a great game. Plays similarly to MTG

Best and most fun CCG I've played in a while.
Goodbye.

The game looks like it has tons of good content. But you'll need to be a paying user to get them.

"Game is completely free to play, especially the campaign"
Incorrect.
You will be unable to progress far in the campaign with the cards that you started with.

"The game has an auction house so you can buy the cards you need from other players."
Incorrect.
The cards you need will cost platinum. Players will price their good cards with platinum (of course. I would logically do the same).
The game doesn't allow you to earn platinum (that I'm aware of, having played roughly 5 hours). I've done the campaign, VS AI mode in the Frosted Arena, and against random human players. It gives you gold after completing battles. The only cards you can buy with gold are the weak cards. Admittedly, you can build a deck filled with weak cards, but if you've played CCGs before, you know for certain that your deck would only have a realistic chance against similar weak decks.

Minor complaint:
You get disconnected if you want to skip the intro.

Recommendation.
The game should offer a time vs money system. If I'm willing to pay, then I get the cards quickly; VS I'm unwilling to pay but I'll play longer to get the same cards.

The game needs a way for free users to earn platinum. Suggestions would be daily quests, or daily login requirements.

I tried to like this game. But for some reason it made me very dizzy. I couldn't understand why considering I've played a lot of FPS-type games like Team Fortress. I think that my eyes probably no longer adjust to the FPS games from this game's original release date.

No longer fun when I regularly feel like puking.
