gorgeous
lots of technology
easy to learn, hard to master
survival mode higher difficulties are actually hard
still fun after 200 hours
when i have the music on it doesn't make me want to kill myself after 10 minutes

itches it scratches: sci fi, builder, mass destruction, pretty things exploding, numbers ticking up towards infinity, annoys people who don't understand the gameplay sufficiently and just want co-op

well worth the full price
definitely worth sale price
a steal once co-op is implemented

I also love the troll downvote comments who act like making the game co-op is a non-trivial thing
It's not just marketing hype to get people to buy a feature that doesn't exist yet and wasn't originally intended to exist.
Anyway thanks for leveling up my disdain for whiners which was already super high, while providing me with cheap entertainment. :)

Easily accessible application for creating animated wallpapers with (most importantly) easy to use interface and scripting to include audio responsive elements.

Obviously very active developers, always adding bug fixes and working with the community to improve WallPaper Engine based on bug reports, feedback, forum posts etc. At a standard price of 4.99 it's a steal if you're an artist looking to animate/add audio effects to your art projects and share them on Steam or just create custom animated backgrounds for your videos or streams elsewhere.

This is a pretty fun game. Definitely worth it on sale; could use more playerbase for multiplayer.

Enough citybuilder to be CIV, enough battle options to be Warhammer. Only 25 hrs in playing a couple of races, but I recommend it for fans of turn based strategy + warhammer.

Obviously it's more rewarding to blow things up when you have to work for it.

Battletech provides this both with the complexity of their game, and the derp of the Unity engine.

Worth it for sure for BT fans, probably worth it for everyone else. Definitely worth it on sale.

City building done right.

This game scratches a very specific itch for people who admire order and don't wish to simply play, but create.

Fun (for a time), pretty, grindy (after awhile.)

Worth sale price, incorporates some RPG/multiplayer aspects if you're into that sort of thing.

Disconnects are kind of annoying, but I kind of suspect Charter is to blame for my side of the problem. Perhaps casual-ish games should be more resilient to flaky network.
