Its a good game at the heart of it, sound design is top tier, graphics are great, gun-play is smooth and responsive. The weather effects are absolutely top notch and bring a lot of atmosphere into the game. The game, even on the highest difficulty is a cakewalk, you will mostly die to random insta-kill moments like fall damage or full radiation bar out of nowhere zones but basically never will you die in actual combat.
Story is so so and voice actors are a mixed bag.

Pretty bloody buggy though and have some major and random performance issues. You can go from a solid 60/120 fps for a hour straight down to 3fps for no reason.
Give it some time to cook, don't buy it for a few weeks or months. She's nearly there, just needs a few more minutes in the oven.

Great game though, in a couple of patches I reckon it'll be a 10/10 game.

EDIT: So my run is effectively soft locked by multiple compounding bugs and I can no longer progress through the main story. Doors that should be opening aren't opening, quests aren't progressing like they should. In its current state I deem this game as unplayable. I effectively played a 30 hour demo for a game that isn't finished.

Early Access Review
The game's got a great style, lore and feel to it.

BUT it's got a ludicrously predatory system that punishes you steadily for every day you don't play it. Eventually it just wipes your progress entirely. If the game requires you to submit sick or paid leave its not worth it in its current state.

Fantastic game, solid necromancy, insane difficulty.
If you're into playing a necromancer this is one of the best implementations of it in any game I've played.
You can even carry around piles of bones, chuck 'em on the ground and reanimate them.
The game's got a lot of character and surprise depth locked behind an insane difficulty curve.
I 100% recommend this game and its sequel upon release.

From buying and equipping your hunter to joining a party everything takes 2-10 times longer. The time between games wasted in buggy menus that often crash or glitch out in various ways has skyrocketed. Often getting ready takes longer than the next match. You want a winning streak just so you don't need to constantly interact with the menus. Dying and starting with a new hunter is an insulting punishment now after the latest patch.

God forbid you or one of your mates crashes when loading or during the game, which has become more common, because your party disbands and rejoining the party often fails requiring the entire party to restart or switch regions which itself often causes crashing.

I am not joking when I say that you can actually spend 10-15 minutes in a match then 20-30 minutes messing around trying to get into another game.

The game itself, crashing & bugs aside, is absolutely awesome, good audio, beautiful graphics, tight and responsive gun-play.
But everything around the game is more unstable, more unusable, more user unfriendly than it was 2 years ago. That is in no way whatsoever an exaggeration or even subjective that is a fact.

It feels almost like a bait and switch, like we've been deceived in some way. The word going around is that these UI changes were done to more easily push micro transactions and store purchases to the fore-front. It definitely feels like a soulless, corporate, untested and money-motivated change to the game. I don't know if that rumour is true but I can guarantee you this UI was not tested in any substantial way before release.

Additionally,
The game is still utterly infested with cheaters. I would go as far to say that, in OCE, the population of cheaters to players is about 1:10. And this isn't 'Oh he beat my ass I'm accusing him of cheating' type crap I mean plain as day, not even hiding it shooting across compounds through multiple walls, snap 180 degree headshots. The amount of times you'll be behind something concrete and you'll hear a guy shooting directly at you because he doesn't realise the wall you're behind is pennable and his hacks are showing him exactly where your head is is insane.

"I can fix her" the video game.
Go ahead, ask her if she's armed.
Imagine if they all got better every time you asked them what they wanted.
10/10 would get eaten again.

This game plays like absolute ass, frames like hell and crashes often. Audio and visual bugs are all over it. The multiplayer balance is non-existent and the game-play feels like a less polished version of its predecessor. Relic had no right to release a game in this state and I want my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money back.

If you're super into Warhammer 40,000 you'll get a kick out this game. The graphic and audio design are superb and the music tracks absolutely slap.
The game-play loop is extremely energetic and insane at times but very repetitive and almost identical to games like Vermintide 1 & 2 and the Left for Dead series. It's fun mind you, but you've played this game half a dozen times before I'm sure.

The reason this gets a no from me is due to the fact that as it currently stands the game is far from finished. There's only a handful of missions which maybe amounts to 3-4 hours of unique content. The game is extremely buggy and prone to crashing, graphical glitches, audio glitches and just extremely poor performance optimisation. You will be running the same handful of missions and maps over and over again with the only variation being in what breaks or glitches out.

On top of all that there's a lot of predatory micro-transactions in a paid to play game which is a big shame, had I known that was going to be the case going in I would've hesitated getting the game at this stage but during the beta there was none of that so in a way I feel tricked.

If you're not specifically interested in 40k there's nothing for you here and if you are there still might not be enough. Give it a year or two worth of patches, fixes ,content updates and maybe a 20% off sale and it will be worth it I'm sure. Till then, eh.

Exceptionally great tactical strategy game with a great story, art and sound track. Very little replay-ability or what-if scenarios like similar games but the story goes for quite a while and it's definitely worth the asking price even if you just play through it once.

Definitely recommend!

This may be one of the all time greatest games I've ever played. Easily top 3.
I played this game with maxed out settings and the graphics, vistas and environments are phenomenal ranging between oppressive, tight and dark cellars to breathtaking open ranges punctuated by gilded cities or solemn forests enchanted with wisps and motes glowing softly to light your way.
The soundscape is varied and of high quality. Some tracks are memorable and will stick with you really knocking home the fight for your life you always find yourself in. Some are forgettable but still fitting to the scene. Sound effects are crisp and distinct, you can often hear an enemy coming before seeing them and you can tell what they are by their footfalls or the sound of their gear clanking as they move.
The combat is tight and a vast improvement over the souls games, basically the same system but refined and the game has changed around it to be more accommodating. Combat is often more varied now as its no longer just a loop of dodge at the right time, light attack at the right time repeat. Right trigger attacks, special attacks and magic are all much more viable and varied in their use and applications than any previous game and they all feel right at home from abilities that make you teleport instead of dodging to ones that light you on fire and start screaming as you immolate others at the same time. Pretty much every build is equally viable but pure STR users will find themselves pigeon holed for choice in gear more than others. If you choose to main DEX, INT or ARC as a primary stat you will find yourself spoiled for weapon options and gear.
The fashion souls aspect is a bit lacking this time around in my opinion, the options of armour are quite varied but very few pieces mesh together properly outside of their intended set so mixing and matching sets for personal flavor often makes you look like a hobo. Still, there are some cool full sets, my personal favourite being the Black Knife set you can find in the snow area in the abandoned city.
As far as difficulty is concerned its definitively one of the easiest games From Software has ever put out or at least it can be. You're free to limit yourself to the traditional Dark Souls equipment and suite of abilities and when I did the game was quite challenging at times but if you use all the tools at your disposal its definitely a cake walk save for 1 or 2 bosses who may actually be the hardest in the series.

10/10 I recommend this to literally everybody.

Quite frankly one of the best games you can buy on Steam hands down. You and a friend swear a blood pact, start a campaign and lose 60+ hours of your lives you can never get back. And it's worth it. The story, sound design, music, art direction and the tactical game-play are all top-notch, I can't think of anyone I wouldn't recommend this game to.
