Firstly addressing the previously mentioned problems with cub porn in this game, the devs did indeed implement systems in an attempt to prevent the spread of this sort of content.

However, as me and a few others have already found, a lot of these systems can be bypassed. The effect they had was more of a easily removed blindfold for players rather than a reasonable form of moderation.

Though that isn't saying that the problem wasn't mostly resolved.

I'm unsure if or even how the changes made by the devs would help the pedo problem but its been over 300 hours later and I'm still yet to encounter anything as concerning as cub porn since the update.

I honestly believe this is more thanks to the community. With enough of us routing against this situation, it seems to have cleaned up for the most part.

As for an actual review of the game part of this game. Its little rough around the edges due to that early access jank but 1000 hours says it's enough to keep me entertained.

The majority of the mini-games are fun, and the condos people build are often legitimately stunning, so even if the mini-games aren't your thing, i'd highly recommend doing some condo hopping from time to time.

Other than that, i'd say its a pretty solid social platform.
