Adding DRM to a game after I've already paid $40 for it is beyond scummy, you could run these games on an emulator and get better performance than these versions. I'm extremely disappointed in Capcom and will not be supporting them for the foreseeable future.

The game's great don't get me wrong, this port is just absolute garbage. I got a disc read error after making it to the part where you have to deliver the disk to E.E. and the game refuses to work no matter how many times I verify the files or reinstall it. I genuinely cannot recommend this port in the current state when there's a literal game breaking bug that somehow only affects certain users depending on their hardware and while Konami refuses to fix it.

I wish I could see what other people saw in this one. Every complaint people have about the first Dark Souls being cheap, janky and unfair applies to Scholar of the First Sin tenfold. Levelling ADP just to move normally is a horrible feature, everything feels so much slower and clunkier coming off the first game. The combat isn't great either, it's way easier for enemies to either stunlock you or knock you off your feet here. Despite my gripes, it's quite fun when you're not being backstabbed by gank squads or suffering through hordes of. I'd rather suffer through the entirety of the Iron Keep than play some awful cinematic PS4 exclusive that holds your hand the entire time. It may be the worst Dark Souls game, but it's still a Souls game nevertheless.

I'm Batman

The Devil May Cry games are challenging, but not outright cheap or impossible to beat. They're the kind of games where you feel both immense relief and satisfaction beating a boss or a particularly tough stage. DMC1 showcases the series humble beginnings, it's short as hell and can be beaten in one sitting, but it's pretty interesting from a design perspective. DMC2 might not be a *great* game, but there's some good ideas in there buried underneath repetitive bosses and lazy level design. DMC3 is the main reason to buy this, one of the greatest hack and slash games of all time, it's worth getting this collection just for that alone. I love these games and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone craving some stylish, anime-inspired action.

The controls are pretty janky and the visuals have that distinct 7th gen ugliness to them, but other than that it's pretty fun. If you like the first two Ghostbusters movie, this is more or less the unofficial 3rd movie. The writing is funny and the back and forth between Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd makes up for the lame mechanics and repetitive shooting. It's a port of a 360/PS3 game from 2009 so you get what you pay for. It's the kind of game you'd rent from the video store and beat in a weekend and feel fairly satisfied with after beating. Not a masterpiece by any means, but I had a lot of fun with it.

For years, I was convinced I hated Western RPG's because of what a bad experience I had with Baldur's Gate. All you do in this game is die, die, die and die some more. I cannot stand the combat system, it's this weird half turn-based, half real-time system that is just way too much micromanaging for my taste. Either pick or the other, don't try and combine both into this awful hybrid. When you have to read an entire rulebook just to understand the combat system, that just ruins the game for me. The visuals and music are nice, but the combat just ruins the entire experience for me. I'll stick with Elder Scrolls, thanks.

Not a fan of how slippery the controls are. The game is built around going fast, yet it seems as if it punishes you for actually doing so with the nonstop hazards, bottomless pits and unforgiving combo counter. This would be fine if Pizza Tower didn't punish you for getting bad ranks, it's the trial-and-error gameplay forcing you to replay everything multiple times that just annoys the ♥♥♥♥ out of me. The visuals and music are fantastic, but I just can't recommend the game itself. If you like these kinds of platformers then you'll get a kick out of this, it just was not my thing whatsoever.
