Singleplayer - Good combat and mechanics it feels great to play, the atmosphere, the music and the story (so far, I'm only in Act 1 as I got really invested in MP).

Multiplayer - Yeah you need a PSN account so I get it, you may not want to, but if its not a big deal to you I would really recommend you to try Legends.
You play 1 of 4 classes - Samurai, Hunter, Ronin and Assassin, they're all fun to play as, the gameplay is great and even only playing quick play is fun, though you probably need 3 other people to communicate with when doing the raids/Trials of Iyo.

Now its not only sunshine and rainbows in Legends, as it is quite a grind to get to 110 Ki (Item power basically), then you also have to find the correct legendaries (apparently if you get good at raids thats the fastest way but idk I haven't tried raids yet) and then craft Epics into the correct stats for your build. This takes a while but the gameplay itself is good enough that I atleast haven't gotten bored. But you have to do that for every single of the classes you want to play as you bind the upgraded gear to a specific class, but its all worth it because those 120 Ki builds are crazy.

PSN is not availiable in all countries but is going to become a requirement the 30th of May while it wasn't before, yet people from countries where PSN is not availiable have been able to purchase and play before and this is not acceptable.
Sony have officially retracted the PSN requirement.

Honestly I think this is the best out of all the "Vampire Survivors"-games, and cute anime girls!

Early Access Review
As the 1.0 release happened I figured I would update my review, Thronefall is a great game, simple yet deep strategy can be found here, it can vary from challenging because you don't know what you're doing, to easy as you know what you're doing to challenging again because you've added modifiers.

I can heartily recommend Thronefall if you are a fan of RTS, Tower Defense and/or Strategy games.

(Original review below).

A little gem of a game if you like tower defense/strategy, well I guess its more of a wave defense game.

Now it is a little game, 4 proper maps and 1 tutorial but it is surprisingly deep yet it's still only Early Acess and it has real potential (plus its cheap!).

Edit: An endless-lite mode have been added, you choose random perks and map with random enemies in each wave, its good fun and when more normal maps are added they'll be added to the endless pool too it seems.

I bought Cyberpunk 2077 with Phantom Liberty's release, that means I've only ever played 2.0 and yeah it was because back in 2020 I thought the game wasn't worth it, and maybe that was true back then but we're almost in 2024 now and the game is great. If you enjoy a pretty good story with pretty darn good gameplay then this is the game for you.

It took me 165 hours to complete all achievements and I enjoyed every single one of those hours, I can see myself replaying the game from time to time as Cyberpunk 2077 have honestly become one of my favorite games. This is not even to say anything about mods, while sadly no steam mods so its not as easy as that, I can see myself finding some mods next time I feel like delving back into Night City, its been a preem ride chooms, and you should try it yourself.

I don't know quite how to describe the gameplay, it is easier to watch how it plays to get a proper feel for it. I love building bases, especially with themes for each outpost and hopefully when the devs make the endgame more fleshed out so its not just a final wave and then its done it'll be truly worthy. Also the DLC is good and the survival mode is decent even if I prefer the campaign.

Now to start lets make something clear, this is not Starcraft, Warcraft, C&C, Red Alert or CoH it does not play like it and if thats what you are looking for its not for you.

Now on to the game itself, the game revolves around the Line of Fire mechanic meaning only a few special units are able to fire through other units and how you micro your units decides if they survive or not, depending on difficulty as the lower ones doesn't require much.

Now that you have somewhat an idea if the game is for you, currently there is a campaign and 2 challenge maps. I'll be honest its not much and while they are good not everyone will feel its worth its price but I do think its worth the money and if, if the devs manages to realize this games true potential it would become an amazing game.
Storywise the game follows the movie canon of the Starship Troopers universe, that means the federation is retarded and disappointing.

It continues the OMD style so if you loved, or just liked, the previous titles there is no reason this wont be good for 50 hours of fun.

I thought I should finally give ST the positive review it deserves, It's a great game that I can replay every now and again which makes it even better.
