If you are looking for a Diablo 2 replacement look no further than Grim Dawn.

It is perhaps through all the game who have came and gone through the years the closest to it in feel, story and general gamelay feel. While PoE is a great game (more than 3000 hours on it) Grim Dawn captures the Diablo 2 feel in a much better way, While also giving a far superior single player experience if you are disillusioned by the trading and player interaction in the other ARPG games.

But not only Grim Dawn emulates what we so like about the old ARPG systems, it improves upon them greatly, the devotion system, the dual mastery system and the hectic gameplay are something never seen before in the ARPG landscape.
I think this is the only ARPG game where i felt i had more than 12 buttons to press on certain charcters, and the game UI also encourages you to get as many skills as you like and experiment with them to generate "combos" using the devotion tree.
This gives the game a hectic gameplay feel and actually make you feel immersed in your surroundings during combat, while at the same time compared to other ARPG's the gameplay feels slower and more refined, you dont rush through the game holding 1 "I WIN BUTTON" you go slowly and take your time to kill mobs or to use your skills.

If you are looking for a game that can suck you in for a month or two, give this a try!
