Great game. I was worried about PVP but after patches dync was fixed and it is very enjoyable to PVP now. It can only get better but it is already worth the money.

This is a survival game. It should be hard. It shoud be gritty. It should be couple of hours agony to find good gear just to die and start again. I always belived. Through hard times and good times of development I saw diamond in the rough. Lot of people will always say the game sucks. At least the vanilla one until mods make it easier. They just don't understand this type of genre. If you want game where you care about your life and have feeling of trying to survive You came to the right place. If you just want PVP and sometimes whole playing session without killing somebody is not sounding good to you go play something else or maybe mods when release will make it faster for You. But you will not have this feeling. When everything is easy and You can find best gear in 30 mins dying or killing someone will not give you same rush of emotions. That is all from me, Have fun.

Also coming back to the game in 2021 after Expansion mod released game is now in much better state. there are vehicles, basebuilding, lots of weapons, helicopters. Everything Dayz should have been when it released in late 2018. It can only get better from here. My only gripe with the game at the moment is bugs and very little amount of good servers.

If you are looking for military sim with all aspects of warfare there is simply no other choice.
