I like it. It seems like it's a nice build on the old game, I did hold off for a while after release.
I find the Americanised character voices to be somewhat more annoying than before (dunno if they've actually changed much), but I just changed it over to Japanese.

I've just come back to starting to play this but for years the only fighting game I played was Calamity Trigger.
I have travelled around many many titles searching and apart from a few older 2d titles I find this to be pretty much peak anime fighting game, I would say also that Under Night In Birth and Melty Blood Type Lumina are great but I think this probably is top of the pile bar maybe Granblue.
Apart from that I like to play Soul Calibur and Dead or Alive.
But someone reboot Martial Masters and I will kiss you.

I like this a lot.
I love the partially abstract adventure that you are able to repeat that comes from a roguelite.
Random yet familiar. Simple yet complex.
Nice aesthetics which can also provide the trickiness when seeking out loot.
I haven't listened to the actual soundtrack much I am afraid, though I do recommend some sort of lo-fi electronic ambient, that seems to be rather in keeping.
Only played the ninja really so far, I don't feel the need to change as yet.
It saves really easy during runs, at least on single player, which for me is a bonus.

This is what I was after all along. There feels like too much drift in a lot of these types of games but I think the handling is great here. You could even do other styles of racing with these physics.
I think this game does require a bit of practice and clean (occasionally not so) driving.

It's definitely a good game in the genre.
When it was first available I got really into it and I would love to still now as I like this style of racer immensely, however (and it's a real shame as I love the maps), there is just too much drift involved for me. I know it's in the title and I do love to do it but the anticipation of corners and sliding sideways to that extent just gets a little too much for my tastes.
It's a great game if you like 'overdrift' :)
I miss it but I don't know if I'll be playing again.
Curiously I loved the idea and cars of Art of Rally, and when that came out I wasn't sure about the handling, now when I come back hungry for a top down mini racer I am actually favouring the handling on that, which is not without it's drift. Be nice if we had a game like that which also had some multiplayer capacity.
