not sure whats going on but my game always crashes since the last update

I cant even start the game because it keeps telling me to open it through steam which i am doing

if i ever saw some major glitches this game sure has them, hitting e z with 50 swings of yo fist doesnt seem to bother them at all, also if u happen to catch a weapon u cant even equip it. NOICE

at this stage i cant recommend this game to anyone, i think it "could" be fun to play, but i cant even change the key bindings, which are all the same(any action w/ "V") to begin with. if just that would be changed i at least could start playing the game...
its so little to change come on devs!
i would really like to enjoy this game
