One of the best co-op experiences out there. Highly recommend just going in blind and not looking up too much about this game.

It's cool and I usually don't mind paying for content but it feels wrong to support or even recommend this when it literally has less content than the *free* DLCs we got before. It's almost insultingly short.

Amazing third person shooter Roguelite with the signature Housemarque bullet hell elements. Easily one of the best feeling third person shooting gameplay I've ever experienced. Plays especially nice with a DualSense controller with it's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Runs and looks great on my 2080Ti with minuscule stutters while walking into new areas, which I'm sure they'll fix out soon.

Incredible atmospheric survival horror experience. It has some issues but the entire vibe of this game makes up for them tenfold. I won't pretend to fully grasp the story yet but that makes it even better. Finished it weeks ago and I'm still thinking about it. Soundtrack is absolutely amazing.

I love pretty much everything about this game except for these small criticisms:
- The (very) limited inventory feels incredibly arbitrary and just wastes your time more than adding a fun and engaging challenge or interesting decision-making.
- Overall combat feels too basic and could've used a little more "spice" and variety since it's something you do a lot in this game.
- The way the different endings are achieved also could've been done way better and feel rather annoying and obnoxious to do than fun new ways to replay the game, if you're someone who wants to experience them all.

They somehow managed to make a better Serious Sam than Croteam themselves. Nothing but fan service in the best way possible. There's a lot of love in this from people who really know what made classic Sam good. It really has a classic First/Second Encounter feel to it I can't really describe.

Only downside is it still runs on SS4's awfully unoptimized and janky engine, so don't expect any improvements in terms of look and feel or performance.

Lovely little bite-sized shooter with lots of charm. Reminded me a little bit of Serious Sam with all the time traveling. It's short (about 1 hour with some secret hunting) but it's the perfect length for what it is imo. It has some replay value if you care about achievements or beating highscores.

Can't recommend this game (yet). It just feels like a downgrade, not just obviously in content but it also just doesn't feel as satisfying as playing S1. I also noticed a handful of bugs just from the one hour I played.

I'll give it another shot once the game releases out of EA and it's more fleshed out. Until then, S1 is the far better game and better package as a whole.
