My first round trying out the game lasted 40 minutes doing nothing but walking around in a circle around the map. Hoping the game would be more fun once you level up the skill tree, I unalived myself and got disappointed to see that the skilltree pretty much only gives you a percentage damage increase without adding to the gameplay.

The game looks great and definitely has the potential to become something great but even being a free game it feels like I wasted my time walking around in a circle for 40 minutes doing nothing

It looks fun, I want to like it, but the gameplay just isn't there

The game is really well made and surely a good time waster.
However the reason I wouldn't recommend is because the game itself isn't actually enjoyable. The entire community is full of toxic people saying inappropriate and threatening things after almost every public match you play. Removing the chat has helped with the toxicity, but if you can no longer make friends through the game then what's the gain of playing anything but ranked?

Just a worse version of normal Dungeon Defenders, doesn't even work anymore

such an amazing game, there isn't really anything else to say
even though they published this game 10 years ago and have already made 4 or so remakes, this one will always remain my favorite not only because of nostalgia but because of how fair everything feels. I never feel like I'm wasting my time playing this game but instead enjoy the progress. I never feel any sort of anger that something is too difficult but instead see that as a reason to strategize.

The only thing I'm a bit sad about is the fact they keep remaking the same game but worse versions of it instead of updating and improving the one that they already have. And even if they want to make a second game they should focus on making it an extension to the experience of this game rather than remaking it over and over and keep messing up things that makes it completely unplayable

I played this game years ago and had a very bad experience, but now, years later, my internet broke and it was one of the only games I had installed so I decided to give it another shot. Replaying this game has been a lot of fun and the things I struggled with as a kid seem to no longer be a problem. The artstyle is beautiful and a huge inspiration for my own creative journey. Hoping they'll release more games in the future!

wow! this game is so good! since i got it i havent stoped playing it once! i play this game about 110 hours every 2 wheeks so awosome it is! a truly recoment for those who are smart and creative
