This was the first and only time so far I have failed a mission, but, with this game, it's not offputting at all.

Playing Deep Rock Galactic is really good fun. Playing it with some friends increases that fun-factor tenfold.
The maps/environments are varied, each with their own little traits to watch out for, or praise for their existence (I love you, light emitting rocks!) the enemies are also varied and interesting (Glyphid Exploders.....Oh how I do so DISPISE you)
Highly recommend you give this game a shot. It has it all!

LONGER PLAY TIME EDITION!

I mean, there really isn't much more to say!
It's still a wonderfully entertaining game, either alone, or with friends.
More content since I posted this review. The devs are active, interactive and they listen to the fans of both their game and themselves. In this day and age, you gotta love that kind of mindset :)

With more content to come, even though 1.0 is officially out and about! <3

To say this game is good value for money would be a gross understatement on my part.

Pick it up, give it a go. I'm fairly confident it'll win you over and pretty fast at that!

It has just gotten significantly better since my Initial Review.
New toys to play with.
Several seasons (100% FREE SEASONS BTW!)
More, actually worthwhile cosmetic bundles with a bunch of both weapon, and character skins in each one (instead of a single recoloured hat, that sets you back about $15, like some other games)
The community is still full of friendly, helpful, and dedicated, fellow beard wielders.

All in all, a wonderful experience!

If you're still unsure, I can promise you the community is full of players who will HAPPILY help a Greenbeard find their footing, and show you the ropes <3
