Acts 2 and 3 are different and mostly lesser experiences lacking nearly all the atmosphere and charm of Act 1, which is emphasised in the lion's share of promotional materials. The plot twists don't feel worth the gameplay downgrades and I would have skipped this game if I knew that was the gimmick.

It's crazy that only 25% of players have gotten past day 3.

The premise is a lot more interesting than the execution. A glorified visual novel which lacks adequate writing to form an engaging narrative, or adequate mechanical depth to make an engaging video game.
