Early-Access-Rezension
The game is a fun experience for playing alone or with friends, and is still being worked on to bring more content in the game. Tripwire have been working on building a stable relationship with the community, and are actively - and steadily - working on fixing some unpopular aspects of the game.

That being said, there has been a recent massive update that has drastically changed some aspects of the game and have added a entirely new, popular class to KF2. Some aspects of the update have not been popular with the community, and has been the proverbial straw that broke the camels back and led to better communication between the playerbase and Tripwire.

Some of the less popular additions to KF2 as of recently are:

Enemy resistances had been added to the game, which had inadvertently slashed a few classes effectiveness, making them close to obsolete in solo play. Fortunately, Tripwire has worked as hard as they could to drastically nerf the resistances, leading to it being close to gone.

Some skilltrees have been revamped, getting rid of some skill synergies, and making the entire tree obsolete.

Microtransactions have been introduced too early to the game, and the Killing Floor 2 community have been outraged by it. Microtransactions shouldn't be in the game while it is early access.

To summarize, there are a lot of grating flaws in Killing Floor 2, and I would recommend waiting until early access is over before spending money on the game. The game is enjoyable nonetheless, and if you do find yourself with a copy, don't hesistate to download the game.

When I pre-ordered this game, I was expecting the best. But as soon as I started playing it, I was really disappointed by the direction the developers went with it. What made the old games - such as Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, etc. - was the way you could truly immerse yourself in the game by having complete control of how the game progresses. You could choose to be a jerk to NPC's, be a godly saint, be a sadistic roman wannabe, be the determined son looking for his father, or be a vengeful courier that got shot in the head. Either way you chose to play, you could set the future for the country you chose to play in.

Fallout 4 does not have the same luxury. You start off as a parent looking for your son, you go through the entire city talking to accustomed townsfolk, having only the option to ask them four things: You can either be the the annoying pessimist that does not respect anyone, the saccarine optimist that loves you and your ghoulified son, the questioning bastard that always asks the same question (STOP ASKING ABOUT YOUR SON), and sarcastic. With the last developer decision, they made the protagonist have voice lines. This puts too much work on the voice actors and the developers, so it ends up sacrificing different dialogue options and any upcoming mods.

Some things they did do really well was the gun play. It was more responsive, it felt powerful, and you we're sometimes forced to pick up lesser weapons because of lack of ammo. It was satisfying to see the raiders explode into a gory mess. Depending on how you play the game, you could also be thrust into some hard situations where you really feel as if you are in genuine danger of dying. This was a large step up from the previous games, and that gives Fallout 4 a few more extra points. That being said, the legendary items are boring. (50% pool cue damage against radroaches).

Other things that might seem different about the game is how the looting system works in Fallout 4. It's more sleek, easier to use, and it can help with immersion during dangerous firefights. You might see yourself ducking behind a flammable car to try to grab the extra stimpacks from the dead raider, so you wont die immediately when you run to cover. Instead of pausing the game, putting the firefight on hold, you can be in the moment and make forced time-constrained decisions to save your life.

Another thing stems from recent news. After the large Skyrim Paid Mod fiasco, Bethesda withdrew in favor of making the Fallout 4 video game, but have then decided to try again, but with extra steps. Now the paid mods are back, but they have made precautions that no bad mods are put through. They make their own mods, and they are quality testing it themselves. That being said, if you look away from the disrespecting marketing practices, you will see that it's a default cash grab that is only there to gain money. People have already reported that the current mods that are being put into the game is inflating the game size, making it quite a few GigaBytes larger, inconveniencing players that are not interested in buying the mods.

But either way, the game is horrible in some ways, better in others, but all in all, it's completely different from the fallout franchise. It might have the same creatures and theme, but the game is not like it's past games. I will rate this game down because I feel like it took too many turns into making the game more innovating than fun, and it ended up not being worth the money.
