If you've played HoF 1, this game refines what made HoF 1 great, with more challenges, better combat, and more cards to play with.

When I got this game it was ok, but the way the Maxima DLC has been handled has left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me not want to buy anything from Square Enix. For those who hadn't looked at the game before, it was priced at a fairly standard 39.99, and this was for all everyone knew, the complete game. Then they decided to add some content and rebalance some things for the Switch release and then package that as a DLC. While I can see charging for DLC added content, being charged for things that should have been fixed in the base game is annoying. Also they've adjusted the price of the base game so the base + DLC comes to about what the base game cost initially, with no discount on the DLC given to those that bought the game before the change in price. Makes one question buying their games given that had I waited till now to buy it, I'd be getting the game and DLC.

So far, much fun. Love the open environments, and a living city with more than just enemies in it.
