The new mandatory PSN account is not legal, not fair, and goes against the players.
This was not agreed upon when originally bought the game. Shameful behaviour from a company that had the potential of being the beacon of the industry.
What a shame.

Played every Batman game in the last 15 years, several times.
Couldn't last 5H in this game. Can't recommend, not even on sale.

Pros:
Enjoyed it for about 30h, very addictive, unique roguelike deckbuilder. Runs are different each time.
Large variety of characters, items and quests to keep player engaged and try different methods (story mode)
Cons:
Story mode is half-baked, not very interesting.
Encountered several minor bugs.
Some of the items are poorly described.

I would suggest getting it on a sale (35~50%) if you are a fan of this genre.

I've got 80h on the first dying light and I could barely play this game for 8 hours over 3 months.
Even if I somehow could ignore the unbelievable amount of frame drops, bugs and choppy animations (regardless of settings), It's impossible to play with the immersion-breaking cut scenes every 5 minutes for a 2-sentences pointless conversation. Every single conversation stops the game completely, loads a conversation, and load you back. it's so moronic I honestly can't believe this passed testing.
Gameplay is worse than the first one in every aspect, the progression system is slow and insignificant, weapons are all the same, inventory and map control is awful, can't find a single improvement from the first game, can barely find features that carried on to this game.
The characters and story is not really interesting, didn't feel engaged at all But that was the least of the problems this game has.
I played co-op and we both decided this was just too bad and not worth our time. Both super fans of zombie games, finished dying light 1 + dlc TWICE, loved every moment of it, and I gotta tell you Techland - this ain't it, chief.

Great story and characters makes up for a buggy, soulless city.

The good: Main storyline and side quests are very interesting and worth playing. Most characters are very well written and have deep enough personalities to feel immersive while playing. The options are not limitless, but vary within reason, letting different players have different experiences, making decisions for playstyle and dialogues options that fit them.
Keanu Reeves and the rest of the cast were phenomenal and carried the game throughout 80h of gameplay. Amazing job.

The bad: Cyberf**k city. Nonstop bugs, performance issues, empty roads, popping in and out NPCs. This almost made me give this game a negative review. The game was not ready at launch, and it is still FAR from perfect as for writing this. Maybe on the best of best Hardware it runs smoothly, but that was not my experience sadly.

The ugly: That *one* character and side story. You know. They must insert it, so they did.

Knowing what Night City could've been, and what we got from literal 'Corpos' at CPR, is pretty ironic and sad.
Shame for all the bugs and issues with this game, probably made a lot of people skip a great experience - an emotional story about what it means to be a human in a real (to-be) cold digital world.

The best game I've played in the last 5 years.
Reimagined an entire genre into existence.
It's rare to find a game with so much effort and love put into it.

This game has connection issues, and you must be online to play (even solo missions),
so i suggest you steer away from it.

I had issues with connecting to the server, after some hours it worked fine, then a day later again issues (it's not on my end).

TL;DR: 7/10 FPS Roguelite, better with friends. wait for a sale.

This game is the typical Roguelite experience:
You select a hero and a difficulty, start a run, collect weapons, scrolls and improve skills.
You can upgrade weapons and add stats to them.
When the run ends (by death/ or winning) you get points to spend on talents which give you in-game advantage in all areas (shops/dmg/weapons/skills etc). You can also unlock some heroes with the points and special upgrades for each hero.

As for now, the game has 6 heroes, 50 weapons, 70 monsters, 150 scrolls and 4 stages, which gives the game good enough variety for 40~60 hours of gameplay without getting too repetitive. Devs said they are working on DLCs already (I assume they will cost extra, so what you read here is pretty much what you get).
The game runs great, most of the weapons and skills sounds good.

I would highly suggest you get a friend to play with you cause random lobbies are rare and the game is much more fun with friends.

I bought it pretty cheap and suggest you wait for a ~50% sale on it.

P.S.
another thing that is worth mentioning - in early access devs promised a campaign and did not deliever on that.
They said it's a translation error (i kid you not) and they meant "main-story" which also doesn't exist.
To be fair, this game doesn't need a campaign to be good, and it doesn't make much sense they put it in the roadmap, but it's worth watching out for next games or DLCs.

Early Access Review
Great game.
The random lobbies are a bit wonky, but it's super fun with friends.
Devs are pushing updates that keep the game interesting.

The best "messing with your friends" simulator.
With workshop, the potential is huge for this one.
