Early Access Review
There's a lot of customization to make this zombie survival game what you want it to be, plus an active modding community. It can be very punishing, or very newbie friendly, plus it's great for playing with friends. I looked forward to playing this game for over a year, and it was worth the wait, even though I haven't played it with the friends I was originally wanting to play with, I've played with others and gotten even more to play it.

Honestly, this game could be fun, but it is EXCEEDINGLY BRUTAL to learning and there seems to be no explanation of what things do. There's no tutorial, the colors change in the UI making it difficult for you to track which one is you, and honestly it doesn't lend itself to inviting more people to it because of this. I'm willing to change this review, but as it stands now, the game is just too punishing to newbies.

Classic RPG style game meets pop culture and internet references equates to the makings of an indie game cult classic! The Tale of Galariel is fun, as you adventure in a different way than your standard RPG, because you are an Orc warlord, conquering the land out of revenge. There are many references, easter eggs, and so many places that I just laughed really hard, that I really can't give this game enough positive review.

I don't want to go into anything else in the game to spoil anything, so I'll just wrap up by saying:
On top of the game itself, the devs have been absolutely wonderful, responsive, and have openly accepted feedback, which I just consider us all blessed by a team that listens to the players. Well done to them as well.

I got the game for free in a giveaway on a stream, but this game would have been WELL WORTH the price anyway. I enjoyed this SO MUCH!

The only way I would recommend this game is if you are trying to:
1) Troll your friends
2) Give an effective method to convey disappointment to a toddler
3) Torture a war criminal
4) Have a paywall of sorts for someone in rehab to have to beat a gran prix in order to get back to their method of higher consciousness

The AI cheats nonstop, the game will start before ANY of you or your friends ready up if you are waiting for a friend still to join your lobby, the online difficulty is ONLY at the hardest AI difficulty (on TOP of the cheating). There is no way to control full screen over to windowed etc to account for multiple monitors, there is no mouse recognition... overall this game is worth the price of free if you can get it for free (but even then just barely worth the price of free).

That said, the game does run, has fine graphics, and is a total meme, so maybe YOU will like it, but none of my friends appreciated the experience.

I like the social deduction and deception aspects. The game (as of right now) still needs some balancing, but the next patch coming within the next week is supposed to have some of these issues addressed. Want to know what I have to say about this game? The YouTubers iRepptar and TwoPercentSkimm are perfect examples of this game. Go check them out!

Come for the fun, the random matches, the hype. Whatever you come for, ShellShock Live will let you blow up friends and enemies alike. Get gears, unlock maps, new weapons, upgrade your tank, and at the end of the day, Shell Shock your opponents!

Similar to minecraft, in that it is a block based, 1m x 1m x 1m type game. The similarities disappear shortly after that. The build gun is an amazing tool for building or removing blocks at long range and is capable of building large platforms or walls very quickly. Most of the game is based on automation of resources or manufacturing, similar to Factorio. The game play in single player seems to flow through 3 distinct types of gameplay: you start off in a survival game, fighting the elements and trying to just manage; mid-game is filled with automation of all sorts, from power generation and transport, to quarrying, refining materials you obtain, and auto-crafting items; end-game is similar to a tower defense game, fighting hordes of enemies, trying to keep them from destroying your Central Power Hub and resetting the charge on your end-game structure. I thoroughly enjoy it, and can easily say that it's worth the full price.
