Great Halo experience. Game play is crisp, maps are good and visuals are what you'd want from a Halo. Even with the downsides below, it is still one of my favorite Halo's already.

Downsides are:
-Shop is overpriced for some items that I would be willing to spend 1/3rd of the money on.
-Performance is hit or miss. FPS takes a hit a points or what feels like a frame timing issue that makes it have a very slight stutter. Neither are big enough to make it unplayable, only that it's sometimes immersion breaking.
-Some character animations while playing feel kind of stutter-y when the game is having the above issues?

Fun game. Sunk many hours in it. People are complaining about the microtransactions for cosmetics, or the new battle pass. You can still earn items through the pass for free. Buying the pass just gives you more cosmetics and free BP. Not having to go through the crate system is great.

You'll want to play on lower graphical settings, for some, but it is very easy to get 60-144fps.

Server side, the game has gotten much better. The start of the game still has some bumps in tick rate and stability, but it's around 30 ticks/s (compared to 8 ticks/s 3-4 months ago). Once the game is about 2 minutes in, it rises to a pretty steady 55-60 ticks/s.

A great entry to the Dark souls series, taking some elements from Bloodborne and the past DS games. The world feels very fleshed out with some minor exceptions and the gameplay is pretty smooth. The weapons are hit or miss and there are some that should be in the game but just are not, but that's not as big of a problem as I thought it would be.

Overall a enjoyable game.
