Best traditional RTS Ive played since DOW1.
Deceptively simple mechanics make it very much 'easy to pick up, hard to master'.
Although I havent bought any of the DLCs, I might at some stage, because Im enjoying the unique playstyle of each of the clans.
The latest balance patch deftly addressed a whole handful of issues I had noticed during my brief playtime, so thats encouraging. There are some elements of the game that could use more fleshing out, but overall its a very interesting and challenging title as it stands today.
The conquest modes are tons of fun, and add a completely new feel to the game as you accumulate many perks improving your units and buildings as you go deeper through the conquest.
7.5/10 trending towards 8/10 if and when they flesh the combat out a bit more.
