Relatively simple, if you play tabletop games it is even quicker to learn, and if you don't, this is a perfect entry point to the genre. The fact that this game is free is right out ridiculous, there are much worse titles on Steam with insane price tags. It is a true hidden gem, I encourage anyone who likes turn based strategy to try it.

To be honest, I don't fully understand why people hated this game so much. Perhaps it was this one when they got fed up with the same type of COD games. I bought it recently, and it was a pleasant surprise. The story is not a big deal, but it's some real sci-fi FPS ♥♥♥♥. 0-G firefights are something I've always enjoyed in games, and since COD excels in firefights, I've enjoyed it pretty much. The characters are surprisingly good, Sgt. Omar and Ethan were my favorites. Nothing original, but they made me chuckle more than once. To sum up, I think it's an underrated game, I wish it had a longer campaign. If you can catch it on a sale, it's even better. It's a shame that there aren't many games like it.

The conception is great, the game is great, however there are some major issues with balancing. There are way too op cards, and as I play against other players I meet with the same meta decks (Japanese Blitz, RAF boi, Soviets stealing every research project, etc.) so devs must fix some issues. In addition, I have an advice for new players. Collect gold, and buy campaigns. It is F2P, and you can get very strong cards by winning them, so you can build powerful decks without paying for it.
