Woow, this came out of nowhere for me.

It's the most FUN I've had in ages. The destination is nice sure, but the ♥♥♥♥ you do on the way there.. Jebus!
I've felt humbled, epic, godlike, trash, stupid and cried with laughter, all in 1 hour.

Best bucks I've spent these past few years!

Fun little time spender. That is, until you take part in the events where other users compete against you in various goals for a set amount of time. People are cheating like crazy, which in turn makes it impossible to even have a chance in these events. Too bad, wouldda been fun otherwise!

Great game. It has the survival aspect, but not to extreme degree. It has unlimited building possibilities and you always think of something new to try. Good stretched out progression with rewards as you go along and discover. It's awesome with friends and awesome by yourself. It runs well and the graphics is spot on!

I played the Shizzle out of BG1+2. I LOVE Forgotten Realms setting but this game isn't it for me.

I really tried to like it, but ended up coming to the conclusion I played because I'd paid for it, not because I liked it. Call it Divinity 3 and be done with it.
Characters are written by children it feels like. I opened a door and witnessed a bugbear and Ogre having sex. Chose the "back away slowly" option, but the games decided I should engage in combat and I kill them, followed by a witty remark by one of my companions!! WTF!
Unlikeable companions for the most part, overly obtuse gameplay/spell system, and a gazillion things to click on. Feels like inventory sorting sim to me. To hit chance is in percentages but uses a d20 to calculate? Exceedingly long animation for a skillcheck? Tieflings being exceptionally rare and met with utmost hatred everywhere on Toril? Not here, they're more common than humans!
The first act is one map and the goblins who "discovered" the "hidden" druid camp is located 320 yards down the road?

I hate that I don't connect with it, bacause I really wanted to. But the abundance of weird bugs, boring story and childish humour made me uininstall again.

Hate to say goodbye BG3 but you didn't do it for me :D

"We’ve been working on an option to play exclusively in Solo Mode, where you will be hosting locally your own instance with bots. Because you will be hosting the AI and other game systems locally, this will increase performance cost. However, we continue to monitor and improve the performance where we can. Solo play is in its final stages of testing as we fix the last issues that remain. We aim to release this at Launch. If not, a patch shortly after that in December."

Surprisingly addictive. Lots of gear and tackle to buy and test. A bit arcadish, moreso than simulator at least, but tons of fun nonetheless! Would definately recommend.

Just a buggy barebones 'Ark' clone with a vague wild west theme. Nothing special or innovative here.

Just returned to this gem for the upteenth time. It's a true masterpiece and offer so much more, than what you immediately see. Well worth full price!

The core of the combat is a great one. It could be the best even. But having been along for the ride since before Steam, I can honestly tell you nothing of import is happening in the development of this game. Tweaking and polishing. Adding then removing mechanics. It's alpha alright.

Oh and the grind is horrendous. A few mistakes and you could lose your ship with crew, cannons and cargo in an instant. A ship you worked for maybe several months to achieve. Poof!!! Gone.. start over. This is not fun, and it's supposed to be. It's a game!

A clear roadmap and end goal would be nice. Instead we have all this ridiculous tuning of everything and game is in fact not progressing in any meaningful way. Toxic developers who actually wrote on their forums, that the game isn't supposed to be fun! Go figure...

It's sad, because the base idea and combat system is fun and right on the money. Over 100k sales and less concurrent players nowadays, than the number of sailors on a frigate!

I'll check again in 6 months to see if the developers has found their head up their asses.!

Until relevant and clear direction is taken, I cannot in good faith recommend this game in it's current state.

Good fun. Makes you learn. Makes you Wan't to learn more. Makes you creative. Makes you smile. Makes you FEEL smart (at times).

All in all a superb sandbox game, with vitually endless possibilities!
