At last, we have the biggest and best campaign we've all waited for with the Immortal Empires Campaign!
This gaming masterpiece is the culmination of many years of hard work from Creative Assembly. I know they will keep working to make this the best Total War experience any strategy gamer could hope for. For those who prefer the more historical Total War games, there is a lot for you here via several human factions. Of course, if you are a Warhammer fan, this is about as good as it gets (until TW begins work on a 40K version of this game). Keep in mind that there is a steep learning curve here, primarily in the significantly differentiated ways that factions play, but this variety also adds to this game's longevity. If you like strategy games at all, this is a gaming experience not to be missed, but when you play it, I highly suggest that you do so in conjunction with owning both TWWI and TWW2 - - you won't be disappointed. We've been lucky to enjoy great games in this genre like They Are Billions, Age of Darkness, Conan Unconquered, Alien Marauder, etc. Now we get one more entry to this busy field of games and luckily, if you are a fan of this game type, you should act now to enjoy this solid entry to the field. This game has nice graphics, solid gameplay, and is real joy to play. I am excited for further development but from what we have already, this is a good buy and it is well-priced.

After much concern over the price of this early access product, I still went ahead and took a chance on this game. I had played the demo and I thought I would see an improvement to the game, but I was surprised to find that I was wrong. To me, this game has a very good concept that we do not often see, but for the price, I could not enjoy it enough to hold onto this purchase. The game seemed poorly optimized, the sounds effects were not consistent or even present in all situations. The camera experienced a good bit of jank and shaking, and the battles had so few units, I simply could not get past what I was dealing with. So, I have asked for a refund to this game. I hope the game either gets better fast (to warrant the price), or I hope that the price gets much lower to account for this (at present) unfulfilling and incomplete experience.

This is quite the well-priced gem! Great, hand-drawn animations in a unique tower defense setting - - wonderful!
Story is not much to write about, nor the voice acting or the music, but the gameplay itself is very fun. Get it on sale if you can.

Such a beautiful game with an amazing story, hybrid RTS/RPG dynamics, a great soundtrack, and now, with the Reforged Edition, a must-play for any fantasy RPG or RTS fan.

Very neat take on the Tower Defense Genre. Striking visuals (reminds me of Krumit's Tale). Spooky and hauntingly light-hearted music adds to the hand-drawn aesthetic. Well-made cutscenes and a fun interactive journal to fill up with unlockable information...what is not to like here? Round this experience out with an excellent and fair price and you have a must-have game for those who like this genre of games. This could even be a good place to start if you aren't yet into the Tower Defense Genre. In the end, give this a try and thanks to Steam, you can always refund if this is not to your liking. For me, as a Daedalic Entertainment fan, I know I am keeping this one.

A Wonderful Take on They Are Billions! If you like TAB, you will most certainly like this game. It has its own "feel" and I enjoyed my first playthrough and subsequent loss. At this early point, more content will be on its way and I am looking forward to the journey. For those of you who pick this up...enjoy!

Such a beautifully hand-drawn story. The music was wonderful and enchanting as was the tale itself. By the end of the experience, I was happy that I made this purchase and I look forward to what is next from this developer. If you have a little bit of time and can buy this on sale, enjoy this sublime and refreshing tale.

Such a wonderful gaming experience! At the time of this review, this game is still in early access. I was an early adopter and I have had so much fun from the first release to every subsequent patched version. Create your own story, build a kingdom, and conquer the world. With so much mod support, you will get hundreds and hundreds of hours as this game gets better and better. This is a strong recommend for RPG, Strategy, and Total War lovers out there. If the price on this one is too high for you right now, try the older versions of Mount and Blade...you wont be disappointed. ;-)
