I was very excited about this game because it reminded me of games I played decades ago, but unfortunately, my eyes could not adjust to the graphical style, so I will have to miss out on it. Congrats to High North Studios on the success of this one, and all my best to those able to enjoy SKALD: Against the Black Priory!

This is a fun gaming experience. It has neat characters (all voice-acted), neat visuals, appropriate detective film noir music, a cozy setting, with a well-told mystery story. The price is good and the writing was fun, all packed into a mystery adventure that did not outstay its welcome. I hope we see more from Happy Broccoli Games - - our powers of de-duck-tion are eager for more.

This is just one of those fun games that can easily swallow up your time. Dome Keeper is an excellent value purchase with the DLC and added feature options (including Workshop support). It rarely happens to me, but this is a game that can keep me playing all night. It is fun, simple, and can be used to get away for a bit in its alien world and mysterious technologies.

Making Playstation Account mandatory is a NO-GO for me and my family! Retract this requirement or please...UPDATE...HellDiver Community helped win the change we wanted and I now proudly change my review from Negative to Positive - - well done HellDivers!

Wow!!! The visuals are marvelous, and the gameplay is intense and exciting. As I have played this experience so far (and it is an experience), I cannot help but admire every detail laid out before me as a gamer. I can't wait to see what comes out of this early-access venture.

So I just played my first skirmish battle and got my rear handed to me, but I had a good deal of fun in the process. As others have said, this game is similar to Advance Wars, Wargroove, etc. - - Still, though, I enjoy the hand-drawn animations and art style. The music kept things going, and the sound effects were immersive enough to "feel" the battle. I had been excited about this game, and it is delivering on what I had hoped it would...more Turn-Based Strategic Fun for a reasonable "fair" price. If you like the types of games mentioned, try this one. If you have a friend, I suggest you also try a HotSeat Battle. Empires Shall Fall delivers on what it purports to do, and I am looking forward to continued development on this one (we will need more than two factions, Weird Penguin Games ;-)

I have put thousands of hours into Bethesda games like Skyrim and Fallout 4, but Starfield is the first Bethesda game I played enough to achieve 100% of all achievements. This game is another Bethesda game through and through, so if you like Bethesda games, you will be right at home here. As a new IP, Team Howard did a fantastic job creating a grand, yet easily approachable universe. I enjoyed the cast of characters (followers), the variety in exploration, the fun and joy of shipbuilding, spending so much time in my ship creations, and taking on the somewhat complicated outpost system. There is so much packed into this game, and with the ability to mod more coming up soon, this will be one game that I also will find myself playing for over 1000 hours. Excellent soundtrack, great visuals, and grand adventure await those who play this game to enjoy it for what it is...another fantastic Bethesda adventure.

Small, basic maps, no real music, and limited sound in general, coupled with crazy RNG and soulless units - - there is not enough going on to enjoy this "game" at this point. However, if you are a tabletop gamer, you will be pleased as this game has just as much atmosphere as someone playing a squad tactics game on a tabletop in a garage. Unfortunately, even with Spotify playing in the background, I felt no immersion from this experience, and I hope it gets better in the future. I played tabletop games like these decades ago when I had no better options, but compared to today's gaming standards, this game is stuck too far in the past to be enjoyable. For me (right now), as a PC gamer, this is a hard pass.

At last, we have the biggest and best campaign we've all waited for with the Immortal Empires Campaign!
This gaming masterpiece is the culmination of many years of hard work from Creative Assembly. I know they will keep working to make this the best Total War experience any strategy gamer could hope for. For those who prefer the more historical Total War games, there is a lot for you here via several human factions. Of course, if you are a Warhammer fan, this is about as good as it gets (until TW begins work on a 40K version of this game). Keep in mind that there is a steep learning curve here, primarily in the significantly differentiated ways that factions play, but this variety also adds to this game's longevity. If you like strategy games at all, this is a gaming experience not to be missed, but when you play it, I highly suggest that you do so in conjunction with owning both TWWI and TWW2 - - you won't be disappointed.
