Its a good entry into the series, but definitely not the best. Have a look at SRW Alpha 1-3 or the Z series if you're keen to get into it.

+Fun gameplay, love Ex-Cs
+A huge selection of new and old mechs
+Story's neat especially having Brave Police set after the events of Gaogaigar is a great narrative

-Animation lacked depth and impact, prior titles have finisher animations
-DLC felt very tacked on
-Characters lacked moments and cohesion

The grand daddy of narrative driven FPS, was a ton of fun and lots of funky moments.

Highly recommend playing it for anyone who loves South Park! Very Steam Deck compatible!!!

Story's Wild, combat's easy to understand and the game's short and sweet.

Finished it in under 25 hours but never felt bloated or boring, had some of the most memorable moments in an RPG I've ever had.

The combat does not feel nearly as good as Shadow of Mordor.

-There's no point in fighting any common orcs because you don't gain any XP.
-The lighting engine makes the character models look very ugly, shadows and light look artificial across the many corners of Mordor.
-The combat does not feel nearly as satisfying, Orcs are too grouped together which impacts precise targeting actions

Kinda disappointed honestly because I like the narrative, Talion and Celebrimbor plays off each other very well almost like V and Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077.

Picked this up as a Day 1 Purchase to go with my Steam Deck.
Despite the amount of times I've failed a run, this was an unforgettable experience, looking forward to progressing the story further and trying new builds.

Also watching the NoClip documentary with the game development in 2018, did not realise how tumultuous the launch of the title actually was. Looking forward to what they do with Hades 2!

First time leaving a review for a game. A pretty neat Metal Slug-like love letter to the mecha genre. I helpd crowdfund the game years ago but finally had the time to finish it. Wish there was more of a developed story mode, was hoping to play the Red Super Robot's story mode instead of the Gundam's.

6/10 game. Barely playable, the creative design department did a very great job recreating that Star Wars feel unfortunately the game itself suffers from a constantly buggy experience with music cutting and sound effects cutting in and out. Story itself was nothing special, the DLC with the alternate universe scenarios are fantastic - had a lot of fun killing Luke Skywalker and change to course of the universe.
