Dont buy it right now..... game is not a DnD game like you would expect. Its basicaly DOS3 with a new skin and a few other rules. But gameplay is more Divinity than DnD. Stay away and read Forums before buying. If you loved DOS2 then go buy it, its the same Barrelshooting Groundhazzard orgie

After patches a few things get adressed while other heavy issues get totaly ignored and not even comented by Larian.
With every passing week it get more and more obvious that they dont even care for the critics of DnD fans and seem to be determined to make their DOS:3 with a new skin.

Update2:
After 1 year! of Early access (and a handful patches) game is getting better. Some super hillarious issues like healing food and Height-Advantage are gone. However some MAIN issues still apply..... there is virtualy 0 Character progression and customisation. Only 2 subclasses per class and just a handfull things to choose from when leveling up (where depending on class it is mostly 1 real choice anyway). Only 4 character in Party in a DnD game mean you have either got no place for hybrid-Classes or you forget the classic combat (Tank-Heal-Damage) and go for Larian-cheese Combat with exploding barels and exploiting Ground Hazards.

Update: A few things have now gotten realy better at Patch 9. However the major issues still remain. Its a good game for a generic RPG! Realy! But its not a DnD game still. Neither by rules nor by spirit or feeling.
