Overall, i have played this game since its original inception, going on ten years ago now. During that time, it has progressed significantly. And yet, despite all of that time, it has not lost its charm. The game is a sandbox at its core, with a Minecraft dynamic to it. But it is so much more, simply watching videos and reading reviews just does not give you the context this game deserves.

It is so expansive, imaginative and fun. The game attempts to apply no restriction, despite being confined the the physic based reality we reside in. Things that are not intentionally created for you to build, can simply be fashioned together with what is available, miraculously enabling it into functionality.

Brilliant, brilliant game. Highly recommend.

A very compelling and emotionally captivating game, if a game is what you can call it, as it is played out much like a cinematic movie - Only with you making continuous fatal decisions that will often most certainly lead to an inevitable disaster of some horrific proportion.

It inspired me to connect with the characters, and thus you become unwittingly emotionally invested. This is often tragic due to the nature of the game and its environment; and if it isn't the dead that crushes your dreams, it can either be the living monsters we call humanity that are now hungry with desperation, and sometimes, even your own hands can be the deadliest of adversaries.

Choose wisely.

The second addition of the series, It is hard to say whether it is better or worse than the original. It keeps true to the core aspects of the game, dynamically flowing with the realism and arcade feel that you expect from the franchise.

Big fan of the game, and i hope its shelf life remains long. Spent a great many hours playing both the first and the second, and i hope they keep true to the things i have mentioned above when releasing the third.

Highly anticipated.

Absolutely epic.

Racked up 500+ hours on this game, one of my all time favourite strategy games, period. In my humble opinion, even now in 2022, this game is still worth getting. But alas, both company of heroes 2 and 3 will be taking over where this classic left off.

And 2 didn't disappoint.

This game has an abundance of mods to play with if vanilla does not captivate your interests, including such ones as Blitzkrieg. Which me and many of my friends have many happy memories attached too.
