This game has a really good mix between Salt&Sanctuary and Dark Souls (in terms of gameplay). Aesthetically this game reminds me a lot of Bloodborne. And the dark, gritty and creepy atmosphere takes me back to games like Soul Reaver, Diablo 1 and 2.
Vigil deserves my whole heartily positive review. The animations are so fluid and really well done, weapon stances, dodging, parrying and weapon skills are superb. If you can, go for the Deluxe Ed. The artbook is gorgeous and the OST is fantastic (Shallow Graves and Endless Courage of the Vigilant are some of my fav soundtracks).

Amazing job Glass Heart Games!

Don't get me wrong, the game is really fun (for a while) and beautiful but the "lack" of content and the tedious grinding and the worst of all: Cheaters/modders/hackers. They will find you sooner or later XD.
So not only Rockstar got greedier with this game (grinding 0,40 gold bar units if you're lucky) but some cheaters are ruining the experience for both new and veteran players.

Anyway I'll leave 3 links here. These guys did a great job explaining some of these concerns regarding RDO:

BTW: Yeah, the online red dead is "cheap" but they still charge you 50-60 bucks for the Single player game and they want you to buy gold bars through the store. So "cheap"... Mhmm maybe not. Not at all.

And I keep editing this review and not for the positive :S
It seems there's an issue with legendary bounties (bounty hunter class). I just finished 2 of them (the wolf man and Tucker) and I got no rewards for completing them. Took me 2 seconds to google this and I found a post on reddit from 5 months ago with people complaining about this exact same issue... "we are working on it" says Rockstar.

I really wanted to like this game but it is broken af. Wait till they fix it or get it on EPIC (if it's available there) for free in a few months. Not worth spending your money here.

Edit nº2: After 350 hours in game, I'm still finding new bugs but I want to leave this link here:

If you can, vote this review so more people will be able to see it and DECIDE if they want to venture into this game. It's buggy and messy but fun, yes. Especially if you play with friends. But BEWARE if you don't get f* by modders or hackers you can get f* by rockstar support.

This game is amazing. Period. Alatreon is hard. It's supposed to be that way but even for me, an avarage player, who happens to be little skilled but farmed the hell out of saafi, kjaar weapons, Raging Brachy, etc. Managed to beat Alatreon with my friends. Before Alatreon, we were only playing MHW when some random event or new monster variation appeared and then "goodbye mhw. See you again in months to come till new content arrives". Now we are playing 2, 3 hours per day. And we are hyped af for Frostfang Barioth next week!
I think Capcom is doing right with these last updates. They fixed GL, balanced things and then added Alatreon which is an amazing and enduring challenge. And let us not forget about the last festival. Amazing so far.

Pretty good story (solid characters backgrounds), excellent character designs, outfits, weapons and animations. The only downside, at least for me, is the latency and broken MP sessions.

This game is absolutely gorgeous (in it's own gritty, macabre, violent, bloody, dark way). The pixel art is on top. Beautiful. Reminds me a bit of Doom Troopers (SNES) and, ofcourse, Castlevania.
I'm delighted by this game OST and the atmosphere it creates. Reminded me a lot of Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 OST.
And finally, but not least, the VA on this game is top notch. I think the Penitent NPC is voiced by Paul Eiding. That guy's a legend. Some might recognize his voice because of the Lore Tomes scattered around on Diablo 1 and Diablo 2. Might be wrong thou but, nontheless, superb work.

I know some already said this but, nevertheless, Bloodstained reminds me of Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow so much. And yes, I love both of them :)

This game is brilliant. Devs did an amazing work (and they are just a few)
Great atmosphere, good and reliable combat mechanics (improved a lot since beta), and a vastly variety of monsters and bosses.

If you are into games like the Souls series, Salt & Sanctuary and Castlevania, then Dark Devotion is, definitely, for you.

"What a waste of time..."
That's all I can say after spending 4k hours on D3 (more or less).

Go finish Diablo 2 LoD, skip D3 (for your own sake) and get Grim Dawn ASAP!

I'm almost 2k hours on this and I can't get enough :)
