Early Access Review
** I feel like i had to go back and rewrite this little review... And maybe a final time for the Finished Product.

Think of this game as a GTA 2ish with RPG and Rogue-lite elements mixed in with the modern Pixel Art band of games. Tons of classes so far with more in future im sure each with thier own abilities and attributes to mix up the game experience. Complete 2 to 3 objectives on each floor to procede to the next in ANY order, to ANY playstyle your little heart desires. You can go Rambo-like as a Gorilla and smash s*&% up or capping heads with your crew as the gang leader. Or maybe you want to do a little pick pocketing and commit B&Es as the Thief or Mettle in ppls afairs without being seen like the Ninja would... Each randomly generated floor is filled with weapons and tools to be rewarded, found, stolen and looted from people and chests. All this can be done Solo or with 3 others. Now its not perfect and things can get out of hand with s*#& flying around and accidently killing your teammates but its fun. So far the variety has been great and the audio...Well its got a Nice soundtrack that keeps the game bumping and smashing.

I cant give it a numerical value coz its not finished yet but so far its 2 thumbs way up your monkey A$$.

It feels good to play games like in the old days where they dont babysit your next move,,, This is just as challenging as the Original Zelda and just as vague with very little to almost no instructions or text. The game is not overly difficult but it can test your patience, If you're like me you'll appreciate the hustle. The Artwork is crisp and dark. Its deffinately got the modern pixle art graphics which are fluid and vibrant. The BGM also sets the mood with its Ominous and chilling tune. Combat is great. The weapon upgrade system is rather simple and rewarding. Not many skills in the game but each 1 feels distinct and essential. Overal an instant classic In my opinon. Get this if you wanna break the recent mold of games holding your hand... Venture at your own risk

Over Saterated but This 1's Memorable
If you go over the page you'll see a lot of negativity towards the game. I like many others research their product b4 buying. Well my friends I tell ya, Im glad i said "EF* it, it's only 5 bucks". I can pin point the many things bad about the game but they're really IMO not that terrible. Sure the platforming can feel a little loose at moments and maybe the Devs could've given that finishing polish to the controls/hit parameters, but overal the game is Good. Ima realist and gotta give props for bringing back the nostalgia feel in a "not so original" way but just enough to make it a good ride. Right of the bat you're reminded of Zelda and then later the Metroid style secrets and upgrades. Yes the market is FILLED with Metroidvanias and Retros up the wazzo. Its easy to look at this and dismiss it based off what you read. I was about to too so I dont blame ya... BOTTOMLINE Give it a chance if you enjoyed Zelda and such games as a kid on NES or SNES and/or like platformers with cutesy pixel art and Great BGM
Quick Discloser
It starts you off cluesless and hardly any information is given to where you should go. Once you get past that and figure it out without feeling like the game has no sense of direction, you start liking the games gimic of using sounds as the worlds language.. ok Im done... CHECK out the game. Perfect sale price too

I can only say this.. Its not a Rat filled substitute with the L4D rush. Its an upgraded Rat substitute of Dragonage Inquistion Multiplayer. Yes I said it... obviously more maps for loot weapons & armour rewards and the dynamic horde objective gameplay throughout. But it gets very tiring very quickly. Hacking and slashing through these rat filled streets can only be fun if YOU REALLY enjoy grinding. This game is not for every1 and if you enjoyed L4D1 & 2 Please be wary.. You'll either like parts of it or hate...

Soo Soo close
It's hard writing anything negative on a game with such a creative developer and an alluring concept... This time around we get a blend of a Rogue-lite and metroidvania package. Its catchy on paper but misses the mark with keeping the player entertained for much long. Its not like it isn't fun. Its a pretty solid game mechanic where shooting, dodging and gathering loot is fun while you upgrade your arsenal but gets a bit monotonous after while. The Music does spike up game from falling flat and the dialog is on par with (UnEpic) which was a blast from beginning to the end. But unlike UnEpic, this lacks that charm of a "hero on a grand journey" scheme and is left with a repetitive side scroll shooting Rogue game with enemy control. Its enjoyable in small bites but if you're going with the assumption of a Rogue RPG game, then you may be turned off at this 1. At best wait for it on sale.

Though I have faith the Developer will strike gold again with his next installment. It may not be the same brilliance as before but 3rd times the charm right :)

A Diamond in the Rough

An entriguing way of doing a Metroidvania with an action D&D approach. Sadly It didnt pull me in at first coz the videos looked to vague. Even with the reviews I still put it off.... Man was i SUPRISED!!! 20 mins into the game and i was hooked. Sucks that i waited soo long but glad I caught it on a sale(again) and when i was looking for a change of gaming scenery. Its Fun, Addicting and SIMPLE. More like Castlevania mostly. The humor of the game is bit cheesy and some of the dialog is a little corny but gets away with it due to the theme of the game. Several ways to build your hero too. which means more playthoughs to try different play styles AND even has multiplayer for you and your buddies to enjoy an UnEpic game together...

UnEpic is charming little game with heart and satisfies the retro gamers

Ok.. ive had this game for over a year and NEVER wrote on how good it is... If your a Dj and Gamer you'll apreciate it ALOT! its wierd, its zainy, its awsome. literally moving to the music never sounded so GOOD. the soundtrack is top notch. the commands are fairly simple to learn and the stratigy is clever. I keeps you GROOVEING and whats more it actually makes u keep playing even after countless tries. The sound and the pursuit is what drives this game. Pick this copy when on sale if lucky!

Wow... Another head rattling mind F***... If you've beaten the core game of Talos and want more then this is a no brainer. Caution if you havent beaten the game and/or bought as a bundle DO NOT play this UNTILL you've beaten the first game (at least 2 endings)... A great addition to an already phenominal game. The puzzles are alot harder... ALOT harder that it makes the first game look like a very long tutorial. The terminals this time around arent as thought driven as the first but still entertaining non-the-less. If you want another brain busting challenge to excercise the old noggin, then pick up this DLC. :-)

Boy o boy..... First of all this is not a "Remaster" at all. If anything its more of a "Re-doing" of the same game from years ago with a few updates that Does Not justify the price tag...I was suckered by the nostalgia I had for this as a kid and made me question if the game can even redeem itself anymore. On the up side the core gameplay is identical to the original so all the fond memories flouris back. The downer is everything else! low resolution in menu, no change to the original overview of the game other than it says "Remastered" underneath the title ::laughable:: and the online doesnt even funtion unless you go out of your way and configure your router. Bottomline, i was looking for a rejuvination of worms world party with easy to navigate and cleaner looking presentation. Overal the poor construct of the online multiplayer really hurt the game BADLY and does not carry the game at all with only the singleplayer and local matches... Shame too... ::tisk tisk:: I really LOVE Worms, I really do but this was down right Disapointing
