2k Hours in and I think I will give it a negative review. While I have had a great time playing it with basic version only and no sub, game has many flaws, from game design to monetization.

How is it possible that buying or getting "Collection Gold Road" Edition doesnt unlock every single map and dungeon? That's some kind next level of lack of transparency not to mention pure extremely greedy. 60€ should be enough to get you all content but somehow it doesn't and they dont tell you that, so if you are new you will not know it and will have to refund it because its a waste of money. Basically every single DLC dungeon is locked behind sub unless devs gives them away like they did a few weeks ago.

A sub is nearly mandatory due to inventory space, you get what it feels like a "cheat", an unlimited crafting bag so you dont have to worry about space issue and such things. On the other hand, you get crowns every month which you will have to use to buy new classes that are included in the Collection edition but not in the sub.

Lootboxes, complicated and extremely confusing monetization system starting from Steam store page leads to disappointment.
I could name more issues, traditional of mmorpgs, like balancing issues. Latest class, Arcanist feels so strong in pve, that puts to shame some old classes and devs dont seem to care like Nightblade. Then on the other side of the spectrum, Nighblade is one of the meta classes in pvp despite being one of the worst for pve.

They tend to ignore feedback or literally not answer to what people say in Test Server forums. In the end is a game I would only recommend for the base game, do main story mission and move on. If you want to do engame or anything else, its extremely hard for a newbie to catch on, expensive and takes too much time which people dont usually have these days.

In-game breaking bugs while in combat. For example, open the inventory and then healing a character might result in all the UI to disappear and you are unable to continue fighting nor you can't exit game unless you kill the task on windows.

Combat feels unbalanced once you reach certain levels. Energy damage literally kills your entire party very easily.

Pretty much a modern Heretic game, meaning ranged magic weapons using mana instead of bullets.
There's no armor stat either.

Game is very good. It could have been a very decent alternative to Divinity Original Sin games however due to the massive amount of bugs I can't recommend the game unless you are somehow tolerant to them.

For a game that has an Enhanced Edition and patches around 2.x version it's honestly unacceptable.
On the other hand, Owlcat has released two season passes so far.

Everything is good except bugs. And each patch they fix something they introduce new bugs. It saddens me a lot to write a negative review for this game, it's like a love-hate relationship but I'm very tired of reporting bugs and not seeing them fixed.

It's insane how badly optimized this game is. Since I started this game I have seen how my pc ran from below 10fps up to 50-60fps. The intro in particular was what got me worried (below 10fps for no particular reason) and it was a sign about what I was going to experience during my playthrough.

Mind you I'm playing in turn-based mode which fortunately makes this nearly unbearable experience less annoying and sufferable.

It's really a pity because the game is really good. This might be the best Obsidian game since Fallout New Vegas but optimization killed it for me.

Vermintide 2 is a much better coop game than Darktide's current state.

It's a pity, because Darktide offers better combat gameplay (I would say ranged combat becomes at least 50% of a total from a mission compared to Vermintide 2 on higher difficulties), great visuals and an outstanding music but overall everything falls apart by many poor/bad design decisions.

- Crafting is still missing as a full core feature (there's only 2 out of 4 available options so far) which I believe it's the biggest issue I have with Darktide regarding progression.
- Excesive time gated mechanics as if Fatshark thought it could be a great idea to take some of the most infurating MMO's features to a co-op game.

Why is it crafting such a big deal, you are asking, most probably.
Well, you get random rewards when a mission is completed, higher difficulties might have better chance for higher rarity but its not guaranteed anyways. It can be a weapon or a accesory (curio) with random stats and perks and blessings, meaning you have to either play with what you have got or try changing a perk or a blessing and locking you out the rest of perks because the game is designed like that.

Shop and maps suffer a lot from this decision, meaning, if you want to purchase a weapon you unlocked, good luck with it because it might not appear in the shop until hours later of gameplay progression. The shop supply offer refreshes every "X" time, meaning people literally camp the shop every 1 hour or so hoping to see the weapon they really want to get their hands on.

Maps are tied to difficult levels and are as well affected by global modifiers, meaning you can only play a certain map you like a few times before it disappears from the dashboard.
The difficulty levels add a wearing/tiring mental issue as well, because if you want to play at certain difficulty you will be playing the same map (~1-3 per difficult level) 90% of the times in a row until the dashboard refreshes that is, if you have you have failed to finish a map on a previous run.
It really depends on how much time you have spent on a failed run.
Maps and global modifiers refresh every "X" time as well, which I believe is usually 1 hour and this is the cause of the previously mental fatigue.

With all due respect to Fatshark, coming from Vermintide 2, I really was hoping for more of the same. just better but instead got mostly the same but in worse condition.

There was on objectively point that was terrible in Vermintide 2 and got changed in Darktide. Say goodbye to people hosting a match and leaving you with the uncertainty of not being unable to finish the match because the host dc'ed or whatever. Finally, dedicated servers.

In summary, one step forward, two backwards.

Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark is a turn-based strategy game with beautiful, hand-drawn visuals and challenging battles in the style of Final Fantasy Tactics.

The game's main features are excellent level design, a versatile and highly customisable class system, and unit progression with a strong emphasis on party management and an interesting player-friendly crafting option on top of it.

In my experience, even on the easiest difficulty setting there seems to be an unavoidable grind to build a party capable of beating the game.

In summary, an excellent indie SPRG and a worthy Final Fantasy Tactics spiritual successor.

I created this sentence review for the Steam 2021 Awards.

After 3 months the game still feels like in closed beta meaning, it has too many issues yet to resolve, mainly bugs related.
