Pure Old School FPS nostalgia, Granted it has it's bugs and issues but they can be fixed, game play is so much fun and has reminded me how long it's been since I've played a game like this.

Release plays so much better than I could have imagined after the ups and downs!

What can I say about this game.. My brother introduced me to this game only three days ago, at first I brushed it aside and was not interested in the slightest, however after he installed it on my computer (due to better memory CPU etc) I was instantly drawn in. How can I sum up this game in a short paragraph?

This is'nt a game that involves crafting the world (like minecraft) this is a game where you start with nothing but a small ship and a small ammount of Uranium ( The energy source in the game to power ships and constructing) stranded in the middle of vast asteroid fields. These asteroid fields are your mines and resource pools. Raw minerals such as Uranium which powers ships, Iron which is used to produce basic structures (which i will touch on in a moment) and others which include: Gold, Silver, Magnesium, Cobalt, Silicon and most importantly Nickel, which is used en mass to produce weapons and ammunition.

Once you have collected these ores you put them through a refinery, where they are refined into usable materials in order to build space platforms and new ships. My current server that i'm playing on consists of an enormous astro dry-dock, allowing myself and friends to quickly construct ships, move resources more effectively and act as a base of operations to explore the galaxy.

The game is early acces, and still in development.. which means bugs and a few problems with lower spec pc's and memory issues where players games will not render enviroments and structures. If you have a high end gaming PC like myself with a shed load of virtual memory (24.5Gb for example) then you have no worries. However for people out there looking to buy this game with a low virtual memory (3-6Gb) do not sign up yet until the issue is sorted, as you will feel you may have wasted your money on a game you can't play.. For everyone else, buy it, its an experience i'm enjoying so much i'm logging back in right now.

8.5/10 - In development
