World of Tanks is a fun game about driving and shooting mid-20th c tanks.

Pros:

Especially early on the game really has the success = reward mechanic down pat. There's always something to spend just a bit more experience on (improving tanks or researching new ones) and more silver on (new tanks, tank upgrades).

Shooting, ramming, and out-foxing other teams is fun.

There are a lot of staged bonuses to help out new players.

Cons:

At higher levels that reward cycle becomes a grind. One mission to one improvement becomes 10 to 50 missions, and so on. Tier I - IV is pretty straight forward, but from tie V to X the climb is steeper and steeper.

There are very experienced players on-line who want to win, not make it easy for the new guy.

In App purchases are a constant temptation. Play for free, but the reward level of free play doesn't match the repair/rearming costs of tanks. Cosmetic tank stuff. Bonus tanks (which often aren't as good as other tanks of an equal tier).

Still, with all that said I'm enjoying it, and recommend it to others interested in blowing up tanks with their tanks.

it's a fun close-implementation of the Battletech board-game.

A fantastic, immersive Western tragedy. And possibly the best "open world" game I've played.

The game is very atmospheric (and that atmosphere is dark and creepy). Dark tunnels, dark rooms, and spooky creatures ready to rend the unwary -- the game has plentiful jump scares. It isn't all just creeping around, there's a lot of puzzling to be done too.

A fun game. Simplified Arkham style combat. One "boss fight" near the end that can be very difficult, and that frustrates many players. But it's a good time.
