Game is a fantastic COOP shooter, that really captures the feeling of being on the edge fighting in something akin to Starship Troopers against hordes and hordes of bugs.

The devs also has treaded carefully regarding MTX and its not shoved down you throat and not required to buy anything, but if you find something you want to buy you actually can get it ingame. It also doesnt take forever to do it.

The music, the general feeling of the game, the satire... Its... Managed Democracy!

For freedom!

Edit:
There was something something about PSN, but that blipped away after a weekend of managed democracy from the playerbase.

I have played this game on and off again. Just finished the campaign after faffing around in the designer for about 700h...

What is the game about?
Build ships, planes, submarines, tanks, helicopters... or a flying submarine, ship on wheels or a tankplane. The only limitation really is your imagination. When you have built your dream fleet, set out to conquer Neter... or pit your ship against any of the brilliantly modeled built in creations, or download something from the workshop to fight. If you get bored, install some mods.

AI is a bit dumb sometimes and forgets that land is hard or that a plane is not supposed to graze the bottom of the sea, but other than that... no problems.

If the game get its claws into you, and you find it fun... hours and hours will easily disappear.
I would recommend this game, after all... I have spent over 750 hours, and only just now finished one of the campaigns.

Spend 100s of hours of building factory.
Find mods.
Spend another 100s of hours of building new factory.
Take a break.
Return; a lot of updates.
Spend 100s of hours of building another new factory.
Find updates to mods.
Spend yet 100s of hours of building another new factory.
Take another break.

You get the idea.
Phenomenal game of building a factory on an alien world.

I love the earlier Zelda games, from Zelda 1-4. I like the Secret of mana games.
This should check all my boxes but it doesnt. The first 20mins or so was ok, but it went rapidly downhill. I didnt play very long, because I just got fed up with the game within an hour, bored out of my mind. While I tried pressing on a little longer, I just couldnt, the combat, the controls and finally the music made me just quit out.
Perhaps the game gets a lot better after a certain time, but I feel there are better games that is fun from the beginning without having to trudge through an "intro" that is just... unfun.

At the moment of writing this (20210411) I cannot recommend this game, it might get better with patches.

Pros:
* Looks kindof nice
* Didnt crash
* Controller support without any hassle
* Rebindable buttons
* Death not very punishing
* Separate music and sound sliders

Cons:
* Controls feels very floaty and inprecise - I was fighting the controls more than the monster, and whose idea was it to place "Action" and "Roll" on the same button? Walk up to a door, press action but not be in the precis place you need to be to open the door? Roll away, and hope there isnt a ledge to fall off.
* Combat feels just... meh
* I had lots of cheap deaths - new monster, instant death due to a projectile or something, or new monster not taking damage from my sword with almost instant death - floors falling away, coupled with inprecise controls makes it a slog of dying - restart - retry
* The music. Oh the music. Its grating. Areas I visited had the same music loop repeating for what felt like every 30 seconds, and the music sounds the same between areas aswell. This was the straw that made me just quit out.

Mouse and keyboard not rebindable. Roll stuck on A/D, yaw stuck on mouse. Mouse steering has some weird "steer towards the cursor".

If you are going to play this with M/K: dont. I found it utterly infuriating, and bordering on unplayable. I want to like the game, but playing without flightstick is frustrating.

Playing with controller is almost as bad.

Decent gameplay, good graphics, ok star wars feeling, frustrating controls. Avoid if you are going to play with mouse/keyboard, perhaps consider if going to play with gamepad (I would avoid it), probably recommended if you are going to play with VR and stick.

Ill revisit this after I have gotten my VR and a decent stick.

Edit:
Gotten my VR and stick+throttle.

Only have two additional points:
1: It looks amazing in VR.
2: Still plays like ♥♥♥♥. Controls are still really bad even with stick, throttle and pedals.

I still cant recommend this game.
