General lack of polish, terrible UI, incredibly bad quest design, brutal optimization/framerate, and early access levels of content. This is an easy thumbs up at $20 and an easy thumbs down at $40 (CAD).

I swear to god I am not making this up, just started my second campaign and have a randomly generated hero named Igotta Shag. 10/10 GOTY

In the first 2 minutes of gameplay you are asked if you are ready to continue and your options are "Yes!" and "Booyah!" One of the primary stats for characters is Hackitude. The first ally you get uses a skillset called Gunmancy. If you think any of this is funny and clever, good for you, buy the game, there's a lot more like that.

It's bretty gud. There's a cheatcode to unlock hard mode from the start, you might wanna give that a look.

A few of Sakuya's animations are very weird, particularly her run animation, but some of the character's animations are just gorgeous (a certain black and white witch comes to mind). Once you start to get the hang of using Sakuya's time slow and stop abilities frequently the gameplay starts to feel more and more like an actual touhou game. Looking forward to more chapters.

This game runs at lower framerates on the lowest possible settings than Ark runs on near maximum settings. That's so bad it's almost impressive.

Soundtrack is worth a thousand times more than the game.

Loved the original.

Bought it for the summer sale sticker. Zero regrets. Anything in my library with fewer hours played than this title should be embarassed.
