Technical issues and bugs galore, but if you're a fan of the original games in their vanilla forms, this feels like coming home. It's the classic Stalker experience in a lot of ways, and I for one am having a blast. It's like playing Shadow of Chernobyl again for the first time, with no idea what's happening, what's going to happen, or where bugs end and features begin.

Recommended to fans of the series who know what they're getting into. If you're new to Stalker, maybe wait for a few patches.

A little hidden gem that takes cues from VVVVVV but has plenty of its own good ideas, and is easy to recommend for anyone who enjoys games like the previously mentioned VVVVVV or the Love series.

A very cool little Blood-like with a low price of admission and high level of fun. The mouse aiming is a tad clunky and the weapons are mapped to some weird numbers, but otherwise it plays pretty well and radiates charm from the off-kilter voice acting to the hand-made visuals and biblically accurate enemy design. Easy to recommend at $3 for boomer shooter fans.

They took one of the greatest survival horror games ever made, and turned it into another one of the greatest survival horror games ever made.

Brilliant little game that's as atmospheric as it is stressful.

Neat little platformer with great art and a charming vibe. Difficulty spikes pretty quickly into level 2, so expect a fair few deaths. Worth a look for only $4.

Actually a pretty clever little idea. Although there isn't any obvious challenge to Otok, it's still unexpectedly fun to try and make the best looking model city you can with the pieces it gives you. Not something you should expect to play for hours on end but I could see myself booting it up every so often for fun.
