Thanks mate, though I jut resolved it. The default windows audio driver was messing up my game, so the moment I installed realtek, everything started running normally.

Gtav largely doesn't like multiple audio devices - usually, you can narrow it down to a single specific 1 that it works fine with, or - if you only have one viable one and the rest are just passthrough/software devices, etc.
