Oh my stars, PINBALL!

I picked this up as part of a bundle; so not full price. I'd heartily recommend for a casual purchase. The mechanics are well designed and it 'feels' good when I play. Something about the pacing, and the level of depth of none combat portions of the game.

I probably wouldn't have purchased at $8 price tag, but at this point I'm not sure I would be disappointed if I had. It's going to pass the $1/hr price point that I usually look for as a return on investment.

Nice 2 hour game of nonsense. Not typically. Still well worth a couple bucks and your time.

Played 6 hours of this. It's a long grind. Some minorly interesting mechanics around how to point your ship while sailing. Configuration of the ship wants to be Diablo like, but it doesn't feel like it has any affect on gameplay.

Maybe will try again at some point when I want to mindlessly grind and sail.

There is something charming about how the sail boats sail... but it doesn't save it.

Super satisfiying. I'm most of the way through an easy run on the first ship. Die a few times before that. This is like a well mixed drink... lots of good things in the right ratios.

As a huge fan of the original XCOM game, I had to try the remake. That is what this is: XCOM the remake. Is that a problem? Not at all, the work they did was solid, and I enjoyed playing through. Is it better than the original? Probably not, but for a generation of people who would like a big improvement on graphics and accessibility this is here for you.
