Better than most.

Truly great game. Shows how terrible war really is. Putin's soulless trolls can't change that. I feel pity for enslaved russian nation. They think of grand, while being pathetic...

Just...DON'T...

I had great time playing it. It's challenging but fair. I really like it's eldritch themes, grim graphics, many puzzles and the fact it keeps you on the edge.
I had times when I was really mad at this game (like when I've spent like 15 mins thinking and preparing for Shrieker fight and one of my legendary heroes was killed with the very first attack), but in the end the fact that it can be that hard and punishing makes you even more compelling.
The killing blow to final boss delivered by Reynauld assisted by Dismas was one of the most fulfilling moments in my gaming history. And that is something since I'm 37 and started playing 30 years ago.
The devs are really listening to the community. I've spent like 70 or so hours on early access and twice as much after the release. They were always improving the game, updates are often, and there is more content coming every once and a while. Top notch.
The low sides are that some of the mechanics are bit too random and sometimes one mistake or even unlucky string of events can cost you several hours of progress. I don't like some of the games mechanics(like when deprived of dmg monster deals crit for like 2 dmg and still makes your heroes suffer great amounts of stress). Some of them are design decisions, which aren't that great from my point of view. Nevertheless, it has it's flaws, but you can't forget that it's crowdfunded game, can't expect it to be perfect.

In general game is damn(ed) good. Highly recommended(if you like the challenge that is).
