Despite being in early access, the game successfully gives players a full vertical slice of core gameplay: get in, get loot, get out alive. There are bugs to be sure, but they are alleviated by the stellar art direction and the fact that the devs are actively working on hotfixes and responding to player feedback. The game loop rewards prudence above all else, whether sneaking around with a default loadout or going in with the best gear you have.

84 hours played in one week since release says it all. This game is my jam.

One of the comfiest "work-as-play" games I've ever played. Every ship and sub-task has multiple ways to approach it, and you can be as surgical or heavy-handed as you want. Great fun, I keep coming back regularly.

I and my sisters have accumulated thousands of hours on this game, mostly on the PS2 version. Even on PC, the gameplay is as solid as ever, and Galaxy Conquest mode is fun to play against AI or other players. DICE and EA have a few things left to learn!
