Let me introduce myself a little more. My name is Mikai ( i as in ick, Kai as in Kaiser). I don't put up my birth name out of a fierce feeling of "Mind your own business." I suppose it boils down to you simply asking me my name if it matters to you.

I describe my outlook as libertarian. Respect another person's mind, body, and property. The only proper role of the government is to enforce (EQUALLY) those three rights. From those three rights descend other corollaries, such as the right to privacy in your own home.

I typically enjoy talking/debating/arguing/fighting over politics. It's just talk however, don't take it personally (as difficult as it can be sometimes.) I am of the strong opinion that if you're willing to announce your outlook/ideology/politics/philosphy/religion/etc that means your willing to discuss and even defend them. I've found one of the best ways for me to learn about something is to poke and prod it, to question strong and weak points, and to generally knock it around a bit.

If the above aren't to your liking, I also enjoying talking at people about astronomy, meteorology, history and games.

My favorite kind of electronic games are strategy and simulation. Grand strategy (such as Europa Universalis 4 and Crusader Kings 2) are my favorite. Games such as Civilization or Fallen Enchantress:Legendary Heroes also rank closely to my heart. Used to play DotA back in 2003ish-2007ish. Switched over to League of Legends, though I don't play but a small fraction of what I used to.

There are plenty of other games I enjoy as well. The only catagories of electronic games I typically avoid are sports and educational games. Bleh.

I am a Dungeon Master(DM) / Game Master (GM), though I also act as a player when I can get away with it. I play Pathfinder RPG, Dungeon and Dragons (3.5, didn't care much for 4th edition). I've played dozens of other rule systems, but the D20 system has dominated most of my RPG life.

Speak now or forever hold your peace. If you have a problem with something I do or say while we interact with one another, tell me or let it go. Don't hold onto a problem. I will (respectfully) tell you if I find something wrong, do the same for me, and let's clear up issues immediately. Don't let it fester.

Finally I will not keep people on my friends list forever. Every few months I go through my list and remove people, often without telling them. I havent' spoken at all to you in nearly a year, expect to be removed. People who wouldn't normally be friends may for a few weeks interact closely over a game or two and this is good. However, unless we form a friendship based not purely on gaming together I will eventually purge you from my friends list sooner or later.

I won't continually game with jerks. Everyone gets upset or acts like an ass every once in awhile, and I understand this. Should you continually treat others with disrespect I'm going to leave. Also, don't ruin the game for others. Kind of vague but the idea is that playing to win is fine, but playing to ruin other people's enjoyment of the game is not. Act accordingly and we'll get along fine, otherwise I'm out. You can find plenty of other people to join your clique who find that behavior acceptable.
