NO MICRO TRANSACTIONS!!! Praise Larian once again! fantastic game filled with choices and lore and fun interesting characters. multiplayer works well out of the box.

There are some bugs. some graphical issues every once in a while do pop up and some times the timing of something is a little wonky but overall it just works.

i will say that i enjoyed the comedic narrator from DOS2 a bit more then the dry narration of BG3 but its a little more serious ton i guess.

As a long time Hawkin player and fan this is cool for being a single player experience that takes place in the Hawkin universe. It not the Hawkin a lot of people want, especially if you played the original, which i wish they would still lets us play. but as a stand alone game its ok so far. i have only spent a little time in it tho. my main complaint with it so far is that it is VEEERY hand holdy. im about 5 missions in and in-between every mission there is a series of menus that it take you thru to learn to build new stuff, upgrade stuff, repair your mech. All very useful stuff and i commend them for teaching the player these things but maybe combine some of these and let us get into customizing for ourselves a little quicker. after 5 missions im still using the same 2 guns i started with and while the missions themselves are ok the same weapons make them feel repetitive.

Final conclusion. as a standalone game its ok, but people miss the old PVP game and with that we could jump into that for a little bit between missions maybe.

tldr:: This i one hell of a game and if you like doing drafts in card games and those unique wierd deck builds that can work but fail 9 times outta ten, but are just a blast to play? Then you with absolutely LOVE this game.

I dont often leave review, but when i do its because the game is that d*** good. i had wanted to game from the moment i first saw it, it took me a few months to get the disposable funds for it. but let me tell you it was worth every penny and more.
For a game that totes it still not to a beta yet this game has a metric ton of fun and replay ability. as someone with what is usually a pretty short attention span for games that are repetative and have you doing the same thing over and over, the rogue-like concept was never that appealing to me. but iv always loved card games, like magic the gather, pokemon tcg, yugioh and such but never had the money to really invest hard core into them. also i tended to like to play something unique rather then the best tourny ready deck like most of my friends. So drafts were always my favorite play style. This is like that but with so many interesting combinations. everytime i play a new run i start with an idea and shoot for that, half way thru i get a card that changes the entire way i thought about how my deck can work and its like its a whole new deck.

remember the gumi ships in kingdom Hearts? i used to spend HOURS just building cool looking ships. Thats what this is! exept then you really get to fight with them.

Some people are really creative and make silly stuff and its awesome, while other make serious fighting machine, those are also just as awesome.

I'v been playing off and on for a few months and already i have seen them add in new melee raming weapons, planes, big wheels (ment for super massive robots later) and now helicopters. it take a litte while to get to some of the cool stuff but its worth it.

Pro:

Updates pretty often (usually with some new kind of blocks)

Con:
Little slow at first
some of the flying machanic can be a little tricky building for at first (wieghting planes)
the in-battle hud is lacking somewhat (no way to Tab and see whos left in battle or what kind of robo they have)

over all i highly reccomend this game. lots of fun!

Great game, Simple yet challanging. more then one way to get the job done, good replayability.
