This insultingly easy, repetitive, cut-scene simulator is by FAR the most overrated game of all time.

It's not even close to being the best rogue-like game ever, let alone the best game ever that the Sony fanboys claim it to be.

Coming from Doom Eternal, I can't quite understand how anyone could legitimately claim that this is the better game. I can only think that the slower pace and more "stand-off'ish" combat suits some people more.

Having said all that, it is still a wonderful game in its own right, and well-worth playing for any fan of this brilliant franchise.

Imagine buying a game called HARD West and then putting a negative review because you found it... hard?..

In a nutshell, the best turn-based game I've played since XCOM2. HW2 feels like a major improvement on the original and has a real identity of its own - both in its story/setting, and its unique "kill-streak" game-play. It is a HUGELY momentum-based game, and the pendulum can really swing your way based on 1 good decision. The opposite is also true!...

A really fun and fair challenge, with a decent cast of characters to boot.

A brilliant remake of HL1 with some great additions and an absolutely phenomenal soundtrack!

This game is a nice mashup between GTA, Deus Ex and Metal Gear Solid.

In spite of these big-name comparisons, WD2 never really excels in any of the areas that made the above games so good. It feels pretty "light" as an open-world'er, and the characters are shallow and forgettable.

Great game, but with more development it could have been a truly outstanding title. Fingers crossed they build on this for WD3 !

The Far Cry franchise had always been rightly criticised for being a copy-paste exercise - and yet, if they had done a copy-paste of FC4, this would still have been a half-decent game. Except it's not.

In short, Ubisoft's laziness/stupidity has hit an all-time high with this game. The story is farcical (even by FC' juvenile standards), the AI is somehow even worse/inoperable than it's ever been, and several of the more "fun" mechanics that we have come to expect of the FC series over the years, have either been implemented poorly or otherwise completely removed. I must also mention the final 'boss' fight, which comes across as something they put together 5 minutes before the game was officially released. It is absolutely diabolical.

FC4, for all its faults, outshines this game in every single department and given Ubisoft's track-record, it looks like it's going to remain that way for a long time to come.

With a 6-7 hour running time and sub-par human AI, the campaign doesn't really lay a finger on the likes of Doom Eternal, but that's not to say it's bad. On the contrary, it's an incredibly fun shooter which has some of the best level design I've ever come across in this genre. The result of this brilliant level design is that the game feels like it accommodates you, no matter your playstyle.

Fun mechanics and a really great story too. If you love shooters, you can't go wrong with this.

I envy the BB who probably has a Gameboy and is playing Pokemon in his little capsule, while you're busy playing Walk Simulator.

Phenomenal.

If you don't have an SSD drive, DON'T even think about installing this sim on a regular hard drive. It will take you 10 mins just to get to the main screen!

Otherwise, what an incredible, groundbreaking release this is. I've been here since Flight Sim '95 and let me tell you, whilst other games tail off as time goes by, Flight Sims only get better and better! Especially once the tweaks and 3rd-party add-ons start rolling in.
