While still buggy at times, IFZ (Infection Free Zone) has shown some huge improvements already, just in the first few days after release to early access.
They've fixed several bugs, allowed for more customization in your start, and reduced the difficulty, so it feels more realistic.
Excited to see what improvements they continue to make!

C&C Generals is still the best RTS of all time - a true classic!

However... Electronic Arts released this in a larger C&C package without optimizing it, or converting it correctly. The result is even on a high-end PC with a top-of-the-line video card, I sometimes get a framerate as low as 5 FPS... which is stupidly low.

Also I had to edit a file... just to play it. Details below:

Initially when I tried to start the game, I got a "critical error" on both the base Generals game, as well as the Zero Hour expansion. After that I had to locate the "options.ini" file in my C-drive --> Users --> User --> Documents --> Command and Conquer Generals Data (+Zero Hour) --> Options. Then I had to paste the text below into that file:

NEW REVIEW: [negative]
Yet another game with plenty of potential, but the devs seem determined to kill their own game and alienate their customer base. I seriously don't get it. Read the forums/discussions and you can see what players are asking for more gun mods, more base features, more server options, & more functionality in the game.
But instead, we get more server-wipes, more bugs & glitches (like boats no longer spawning + keys no longer spawning), & more stuff in the game that does little to improve the overall experience, only appealing to a very tiny fraction, while alienating the vast majority of players.
Wake up devs, there is a reason this game is dying and most servers are empty... you are killing it.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: [positive]
A 'better' first-person shooter open-world-survival game. The environment is beautifully life-like. The appearance is more realistic then most like it. And unlike most, the A.I in this game (Deadside) is fairly balanced. They pose a real risk to players, but without being OP. And just like real players, the AI bots are fairly smart, & will try to flank you, ambush you, or even rush you. The survival aspect to the game is also fairly realistic & challenging. You can hunt ducks, deer, wolves (for their fur), and even fish. Whats more the base-building aspect is descent... not perfect, but descent.

What could be improved?
Allow server admins to set the decay (despawn) rates for bases, as well as increase/decrease the frequency of spawns, and perhaps even to adjust the competence of AI bots.
Also the functionality of bases could use some improvement and enhancements. For example, add a "stove", so food can be cooked inside, and so there is a permanent food crafting station. Allow more then one water collector. Allow for there to be light inside/outside the base, via a solar generator or gas generator. Allow for vanity pieces such as gun displays, trophy displays, or luxury furniture that offers temporary bonuses.

In other words, while the game may not be perfect, it is better then most, and at a low price... but as always, there is room for some definite improvement.

Fun for whole family - not just the GF or wifey, but also for the bros & the kids as well.
Yes you get to play house, but you can also do a lot of exciting things that include exploration, magic, covert-ops, & other non-traditional stuff as well. Good times!

That being said, it is terrible how the devs have turned the Sims franchise into a money-mill, in which they continually release half-baked DLCs in an obvious money-grab, and rarely fix the issues/bugs those DLCs create. Thus you have to be careful which DLCs you purchase, because the wrong ones can ruin your game.

Anno 1800 is a very good game, no doubt. You can really sink a lot of hours into this game without it becoming tedious. My only real complaint was the sheer amount of DLCs they sell, and the fact they didn't include many of them in the season passes.

Definitely the best Assassin's Creed title, with fun naval battles, impressive vistas (views), and a large variety of combat, over an large expansive map.

Although its still a game in its infancy, it already has a LOT of promise!
I cannot wait for the full game to be released!

Those who are likely to enjoy "Infection Free Zone" include those that enjoy other games such as:
State of Decay 2
Bannerlord
Evil Genius 2
Frostpunk
Stranded Alien Dawn
Surviving the Aftermath
Surviving Mars
Mr Prepper
Endzone
Tropico series
Total War series
Anno series
etc

While not perfect and missing some important building pieces, the game Medieval Dynasty does a lot of things right. The main storyline is fairly good and offers a variety of missions to complete in order to progress in most aspects of the game.

The main focus is creating a village of your own from scratch, by harvesting resources (where it gets really 'grindy') and using those resources to construct various buildings, and recruiting nomadic villagers to your settlement and keeping them happy, so they can help you craft more and unlock additional tech points to unlock more recipes. And when you're not building something or harvesting resources, you're running around to nearby villages to complete missions, that reward you with reputation points, to allow additional building capacity in the future.

If someone could combine the almost perfect game of "Kingdom Come Deliverance" with the village-development aspect of this game (Medieval Dynasty), I believe you'd have a perfect game. Also, the co-op mode they added is very nice, and I hope they further develop and expand the co-op map, as well as adding additional recipes to unlock.

Rough, unpolished, incomplete, and empty.
This feels more like a copy of another game, that was done for a school project, but never completed.
The game isn't very intuitive at all, and its unnecessarily compartmentalized, which breaks what little immersion there is.
I'm sure some like it just fine, but definitely not for me.

The game feels rather dated, like a shooter from a decade ago. Also the fact that there are so many invisible barriers, that if you step to the left or right too much, suddenly you're not allowed to use your weapon?
How about of instead disabling your weapon, you place obstacles so players can't go there?
And why create such a narrow corridor in the first place?
Finally, why are certain players able to see you through walls, and know your precise location at all times?
Hard pass
