Recommended for sure!
While so many games do so many things wrong nowadays... its refreshing to find a RTS game that does so many things right!

If the full version of the game expands on all the good aspects of the demo, than ROMAN TRIUMPH will be a rare gem in deed!

Its still a little rough around the edges, lacks descent music, & doesn't guide players through the best options when presenting various combinations of features... but it still has potential, so I'll give it an upvote for now... expecting the developer will continue to improve it, expand it, & flush it out better over time.

So far so good... while different from the original Frostpunk in many respects, it still maintains the same overall survival-management & decision-making aspect for ethical dilemmas presented to you, as you seek to balance your community's growth and progress, while striving to keep as many people alive and satisfied as possible, so you're not voted out of office, before you reach the light at the end of the tunnel.

I was skeptical at first if this sequel would be as good as the original, but so far I would recommend giving it a try. It is different, but familiar enough.

Once Human does a lot of things well, and by well, I mean better then most open-world MMOs.
------
PROS:
* The Price = FREE (need I say more?)
* Top-notch Graphics are very nice, and seems fairly optimized
* Rewards for almost everything you do, so it feels far less grindy then most MMOs
* So much content = always something to do at any level, so it never gets boring
* Original content = every town or point-of-interest on the map offers varying challenges or missions
* Large map = plenty of varied content and varied story-line missions/plot
* Crafting and Base-Building offers a good variety as well as being relevant/important to your progress
* Premium services & upgrades are mostly Cosmetic, so not a lot of pay-to-win aspect
* Multiplayer cooperation a key component to the game, but still able to solo most content if you wish
* Each Phase and Season offers different challenges & unique rewards
* Ability to keep end-game content, as well as most types of currencies
------
CONS:
* Playing with friends can be rather difficult, unless you start ONCE HUMAN at the exact same time & day
* Like most new games, some aspects of the game can be vague/confusing, unless you watch Youtube videos
* So many different types of currencies, upgrades, mods, & customization, can be confusing for a lot of players
* Each season "resets" the main-world maps, wiping your main base & progress earned (but you do get to keep a lot of the end-game content, as well as most forms of currency & recipe unlocks)

While its still in early access, and thus understandably still has a few issues, it is flushed-out enough already, to be considered a fully functional & complete game.
If you like RTS games with a combination of supply-chain challenges as well as designing the layout of your base and manufacturing, as well as a storyline/campaign, then this game should appeal to you, be it in Sandbox mode, or in the main campaign mode.

I'm giving Pax Dei a positive rating for now, for what it currently is ... a graphically pleasing base-building & crafting game, with a deep focus on 'grinding' for higher-tier building & crafting. With such large maps, it also offers an aspect of exploration and PVE. The PVE can be especially fun in a group.

Beyond that though, it doesn't offer too much more. I have no illusions of what it currently is, but I have hopes that they continue to expand the game, adding more content, missions, trading, farming, etc... and that they will fix the bugs in the game (like the fact that trees will respawn indefinitely, even if you chop the tree down & build your base directly over it, the tree will continue to respawn inside your base forever, while all other resources automatically despawn, the moment you land-claim that location).

Having spent over 150 hours during Alpha, and another 150 hours in Early-Access, I can honestly say, if you like games like Medieval Dynasty, you will enjoy Pax Dei.

This game seems very half-baked, or just quarter-baked.... so many features in the game don't even work.
So much guess work because any progress made in a production building is invisible, with no way to tell what is going on.
Additionally, there is no clear method of defending against invaders. No town center or the like to call your villagers to, when invaders attack. So despite having plenty of weapons in the warehouse, your villagers are killed off one-by-one, with no means of directing them, nor arming them with the weapons on hand, nor any logical or rational method of defense.

Everything works great so far... no bugs or issues.
Will create another review after I've logged over 100 hours.

MANOR LORDS = yes or no?

Answer: if you like RTS games, and enjoy titles like "Bannerlord", "Kingdom Come Deliverance", "Medieval Dynasty", "Going Medieval", and "Pax Dei", then you will likely enjoy Manor Lords as well.

Do you like the look of GTA online, but without the toxic trolls?
Would you prefer to focus on building up your business empire... including the aesthetics, layout, design, pricing, hiring of staff, & setting up the supply chain?
Do you enjoy managing the logistics of a business empire, while striving to expand further into additional markets?
Do you prefer a game that is fun, while still requiring enough brain power & creativity to problem-solve?

If so.... then BIG AMBITIONS may be the game for you!

Act now, and this role-playing business-simulator will be delivered to your computer as fast as you can say "download" for the low, low purchase price of MONEY.

WARNING: Playing 'Big Ambitions' has been known to be addictive, including the symptoms of lost hours, lost weekends, & lost girlfriends. Remember to always stay sufficiently hydrated and stretch regularly.

Still using the same resolution & graphics from over 20 years ago. If you try to increase the resolution beyond 800x600, it zooms out so you can't even seen anything. This makes no sense at all.
Also, the save file system seems to be corrupted. I was thinking other negative reviews were just people who didn't know what they were doing, so I started a game, tried to change the resolution, and tried to save a file and then load that file. This game is broke :(
