Incredibly deep, Hugely different, endless content, continuing support from developer, very satisfying, lots of fun.

For me, the best real time strategy game/4X ever made.

Only downside is the graphics, but if you play it, you'll quickly realise why they are so simplistic. (Hint - it wouldn't be possible to have a game on this scale with anything other then representative graphics)
