i love a game that's more spreadsheets than parkor, but this one is -bad- spreadsheets. it's spreadsheets implemented poorly with no real game to play. You spend more time watching it than you do doing anything. stick to hearts of iron or a nice comfy civ game, this one isn't really a game yet.

I loved the first game, it was visually stunning and kept me hooked with the story, but the gameplay was so frustrating it just wasn't fun to get through it. there's a difference between hard and obnoxious, and the first game crossed that line just too many times to make me want to finish it.this game is just, so, so much better. same visual flair, same cool story, same unique world building, but you get just enough of an edge to make the game-play challenging but still winnable and fun. if you like tactics and dark settings, this game kicks ass.

I genuinely love this game and can't wait to play it through, but as it stands at the moment, the bugs are just too much. wait a few months and buy this game. but don't play it today, it will just frustrate you.

poorly made. awesome graphics, ♥♥♥♥ balance. had all stations level 4 at day 11, max humans in all, constantly feeding humans to bio reactor, with 11 humans in wheel, still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ failed. wtf? I'd like my 3 dollars back please.

Another bethesda game where the artists and designers knocked it out of the park, but the game designers were too drunk or stoned to make a game that was even remotley playable. ♥♥♥♥ this game,, and ♥♥♥♥ bethesda. this is the worste fps game iv'e ever played, hands down. do not buy.

I love this game.

In concept, it seems similar to sunless seas (and skies!) but In execution, it's not just unique, but much, much more. The combat is layered and interesting, the rolep-laying that you can get involved in with the city to city exploration is awesome, the crew is engaging and worth exploring, the setting is most insane, bewildering and creative I have ever seen. I love literally everything about this game.

I almost hate comparing it to sunless seas (which I love as well) because while it shares characteristics with it on the surface, it is so much more and so much more engaging. if you like exploration, narrative rich, story based or just something unique and bursting with creativity, give yourself a present, and play this game.

Game-play is tedious and frustrating. multiple bugs. I feel like I'm constantly about to enjoy it, but the frustration of the gameplay keeps preventing that. buy it if its on sale, otherwise skip it.

that's hyperbolic, but it's how im feeling. the interface is poorly designed, the combat is frustrating, the gameplay (movment, interaction with envoronment, etc, non-combat parts of "play") is sluggish and not at all engaging, the envoronments are neat, but the lighting is distracting and inconsistant, its just.... i really WANT to like this game, want to play it, but every little bit of it pisses me off and pulls me out of any fun i might be having.

the story is bland, the gameplay sucks, the environments are irritating, its a perfect example of a swing and a miss. or, how to ♥♥♥♥ up a perfectly neat idea with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ design descisions and poor programing.

for those that enjoyed the single player mission from starcraft with only the grunts, but with bad voice acting and a boring story, this is for you!!
