Garbage game. Can't progress beyond level 2 for lack of enough stars, but there's no indication of how to achieve that. Refunded my $1.19.

No multi-click mode - you have to wait until a worker is free before you can click, in any of the game modes.

Great follow-up to Train Valley! As others have noted, if you are looking for a pure rail traffic routing game, you'll be disappointed. But if you like logistics management games, you'll love Train Valley 2. The level designs are challenging and satisfying to play. They are also larger and have more varied terrain than the Train Valley levels, giving you a lot of different route options. One major drawback is the lack of Sandbox Mode - maybe they'll add that back in the future.

An ARPG with controller support and rotating camera by design (ie: not by mod). The rest of the game just raises that awesomeness to a higher level.

In terms of style, design, ambition and breadth, My Time At Portia achieves a lot. When it works, it feels very satisfying to play.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work well at all. There's no question that this game was taken out of Early Release long before it should have been. Instead of allowing you to knowingly buy a game that may be problematic to play through, Pathea Games and Team17 now dishonestly turn their customer base into their beta testers. I have very little confidence that they will be able to fix this game enough to make it worth attempting to play through again. Please take a browse through the "Report a Problem" discussion forum for this game and see the state of it for yourself.

There are more bugs in here than there are in the sewers of New York City, and I'm not talking about the Mr. and Mrs. Ladybugs. Some are just pettily annoying, like the minimap rotation option not sticking through game sessions. Others are frustrating, but not game-breaking, like winning a karate match by forfiet because the NPC got stuck trying to get into the ring.

But the crashes are the worst. Crashing games are nothing new, obviously. Usually, you just restart, repeat a few things that you did since the last save, and move on. The major problem here is that the game will only save when you go to sleep at night in your house. That design choice can sometimes be frustrating when you have to throw away gameplay time because you had to close the game down to attend to RL issues. But it's downright insulting when it repeatedly happens because the game crashed yet again. Just the simple ability to do a manual Quicksave when desired would make the instability of the game a lot more tolerable.

In this way, what you would think should be one of the game's best features - the depth of gameplay and things you can get done in a given hour of gameplay - turns into a massive detraction, and ultimately makes this game unplayable for me.

Here's an example: Wake up; do chores; run to town for social and new jobs; back to yard to do work; pack and leave to travel to ruins some distance away; enter and start fighting through ruins - game crashes.

Restarted computer and game, repeated *all* of that, start fighting in ruins - game crashes, different location, but during combat again.

Restarted computer, verified game files, restarted game, *skipped* most of the chores, ran to ruins and start fighting - game crashed during combat in different location.

So: Restarted yet again, skipped all the chores, skipped all the town stuff, ran directly to the ruins, RAN through the ruins skipping all the enemies and loot to get to the boss fight. Start fighting the boss and, you guessed it: CRASHED! (And even if it worked and I made it through, it would have been without the xp and loot that I was supposed to be getting there, so how is that a win?)

Now, ask yourself if that's the kind of gaming experience you would like to have after paying $30. If so, then this games for you, you masochist!

Otherwise, save your sanity and replay Stardew Valley.

While there is a lot to like about Seven, the way the camera view is designed defeats the whole purpose of a stealth game. The camera will constantly shift walls, floors, and ceilings in and out of transparency as you move around. This is common in 3rd-person games, usually successfully. Not so here.

Climbing a stairway, for instance: You do not see a single thing about the level you're climbing towards, including the guards right at the top of the stairs, until you actually step onto the floor itself. At one point, I stepped off a catwalk onto a ventilation shaft - maybe about 3 inches down - and the entire level of the catwalk went so transparent as to be invisible, again, including the guard I was trying to avoid and time as he patrolled.

Even more frustrating: The game provides you with a magical "Sense Mode", which lets you 'scout' with the camera, well beyond what you would be able to see normally. Great! Make up for the weird camera design with a special ability! No, sorry, even that mode does not allow you to see the guards that are 10 feet in front of you, just because they are a few inches higher.

The days of the original Thief being the only stealth game around are long gone. There are very many now that treat stealth way better than Seven. Give this one a pass unless they do a major update to how the camera works, at a minimum, allowing you to have some control over it.
